If you are buying this to use as a scanner for a Mac, expect to have some extra trouble. The disc that they provide contains some antiquated software that does not seem to work with current versions of the Mac operating system. I have yet to be able to successfully scan on the Mac. I ended up putting it on my windows computer and sharing for printing. On a Windows machine this is a great product. I've had no problems with it. It both scanns and prints great. I am quite happy with it.

I bought this ink cartridge online and was pleased with how rapidly it arrived and how inexpensive the shipping was. Much better deal than buying it at Office Depot/Max/Whathaveyou. FWIW. the printer I use these cartridges with -- HP Deskjet 6980 -- is by far and away the best inkjet printer I've ever used. It's a wireless printer that I use on a mixed Linux-Windows home network. It never chokes.

First off, I just want to say that I am not a gadget freak, or an expert when it comes to gadgets. Nor do i have time or money to spend money on gadgets to explore dfferences between different products. With that said, I did alot of research when it came to buying the Hp MediaVault 2120. I also want to state that my main reason for wanting to purchase the MV2120 was of course for space. I have a fairly old computer with only a 80 GB HDD, and I love movies, so naturally 80 Gb is definitely not enough space. 5 stars since it is excellent and the only real choice. I ordered this from another source due to shipping costs from the Amazon partner, Ant. I ordered a USB cable from them at a great price, then saw that they charged over THREE times the product price for shipping! Over $8 for a few ounces. This seems to be a major problem with Amazon partners. Target's charge for shipping an electric skillet was equal to the product price. I passed on that. ALWAYS CHECK THE S&H charge before ordering! This battery is great for travel. I just got back from a trip to CA and was able to watch a movie on the plane and still had over 50% battery left (using power saver option).

Since I have a HP computer with a empty bay to insert this Personal Media Drive, it was worth buying, and installing. Installation was simple, just slide it in, and the disk readies itself. In short, if you have a HP computer that accommodates this drive, then by all means, do buy it.

to date this is the most reliable, easy to use, and fast HDD i ever had. It just came to my home, i opened the package, took out the unit, and inserted into it's corresponding slot(the HP media drive bay) and voila!!! everything is running how it was spected! I highly recomend this one!
