This is a great deal for anyone on a budget. While the AMD Athlon doesn't have the performance of an intel, it doesn't carry the bloated price tag of an intel either. The 1024MB of RAM is upgradable to 4gbs, so there is plenty of room to build up as you go along. The 160GB hard drive may not be large enough for users who have lots of mp3s, but it is plenty of space for the casual users. The only complaints I have about it are: 1. Windows Vista. If you're new to windows vista (like me) then you'll either have to give yourself plenty of time to acclimate to the new OS, or down grade to another version. Either way it's still a windows. :( 2. I was hoping for a quick and easy way to purchase what I wanted, without actually looking for it, or going to get it. (Yes, I realize I have lofty goals, but please forgive me, for I am old.) Anyway, this HP Photo Value Pack was exactly what I was looking for (even though I suspected, and amazon reviews verified, there are more economical ways to buy ink and paper)... and amazon.com made the transaction quick and easy. (In fact, delivery was almost too fast, but I find it hard to complain about that, so please forget I mentioned it.) This is not the first time I have been totally satisfied with amazon.com. If they will just start selling groceries, I won't have to leave the house, and that would suit me just fine.

I bought this ink cartridge online and was pleased with how rapidly it arrived and how inexpensive the shipping was. Much better deal than buying it at Office Depot/Max/Whathaveyou. FWIW. the printer I use these cartridges with -- HP Deskjet 6980 -- is by far and away the best inkjet printer I've ever used. It's a wireless printer that I use on a mixed Linux-Windows home network. It never chokes.

I recently bought a new printer and I got a ream of this paper as a promotional item at the time I bought my printer. I am very impressed. In fact, this multipurpose 92 brightness paper by Hewlett Packard gives you something to sing about! I use this paper with my inkjet printers; and I can use it to make signs to tape to my front door indicating to delivery people which doorbell to ring! The paper is not expensive for all that you get; and it almost never jams in my printer at home. Nevertheless, I always fan the paper to make sure that it doesn't jam.
