I have been using an HP DeskJet 3845 for about 4 years now, and while it was a basic printer, it did the job, but I felt like I could use an upgrade. I just happen to be doing some quick shopping when I noticed it in Staples. While I normally research everything before I buy something, this time I just bought it and I am very happy with it. Although the first one I bought wouldn't recognize the black ink cartridge, a quick exchange back at the store fixed the problem. I've been using the printer for a day now and so far I don't notice anything wrong with it. Compared to the 3845, this seems like a nice heavy-duty printer. 5 stars since it is excellent and the only real choice. I ordered this from another source due to shipping costs from the Amazon partner, Ant. I ordered a USB cable from them at a great price, then saw that they charged over THREE times the product price for shipping! Over $8 for a few ounces. This seems to be a major problem with Amazon partners. Target's charge for shipping an electric skillet was equal to the product price. I passed on that. ALWAYS CHECK THE S&H charge before ordering! After much research, I purchased this monitor. I made the mistake of not thoroughly researching the differences between types of LCD displays. The most color accurate displays are S-IPS followed by S-PVA. The worse are type TN, which will only ever give you just 6-bit color--262,144 colors. Various blending tricks are done to create the illusion that there are more colors, but fidelity is necessarily compromised. The HP w2007 is a TN monitor and it shows. The colors were washed out and varied widely across the screen. As could be expected from a TN monitor, all the adjustments I made never got the color fidelity to be more than bad. Ink sometimes prints with lines (pins are broken), and ink is expensive but there isn't a lot of options this is the most affordable black ink option for my printer

I needed a replacement for an older printer of mine (also HP) that had died...I looked around and decided on the D7460 for a lot of reasons. I challenge anyone to find a wireless printer in this price point that has all the functionality of the D7460. Simply put, this printer rocks! It prints b&w with ease and the colors on photos are simply beautiful. The wireless feature is amazing. I recommend to everyone to get a wireless printer for all your needs. I can be sitting on my deck and print items to retrieve later...no wires, no mess, etc...the HP software is intuitive and asks to be updated when such are available...very cool.
