I ended up giving this mousepad away because it doesnt work with my logitech g5 optical mouse. I suppose if you have a crappy ball mouse or something cheap it might work, but this pad is far from what I expected, I get better traction on a $1 square pad. I'm forced to still use my old pad that I've had for over a year until I find something better. Cheers.

It says on the package that will clean lenses for both dvd and cd players. After running it three times the dvds on my dvd player still freezing scenes. It may work great for cd's.

This is a terrific (and relatively inexpensive) monitor stand, particularly if your desk space is limited; the design allows things to be slid under it. However, Amazon's photo is misleading; the stand does not have the storage-slot thing in the picture. It's also not a silver color (or "pewter" as the item description says); it's a light gray-green.

I bought the stand to use to place a 19" TV on and placed my DVD/VCR player beneath. This was a perfect solution vs. buying a piece of furniture. It's sturdy and attractive.

Pros: Inexpensive Easy to put together Cons: When being rolled, the CPU case still tends to slip inside the caddy, even with the rubber inserts provided. The photo gives an impression that the caddy is silver/chrome, or shiny, at least -- when, in fact, it has a dull, greenish color (but it's under my desk; so, who cares?).

I purchased this item based on someone else's review - that it would be a good dresser-top space saver for a 19" HDTV and Cable box. It's perfect for that. THe wobble people describe is very brief and my TV does not move on the stand, so I'm not concerned. My only complaint is that the width dimension is for the top of the stand - my cable box has to rest on the legs of the stand. I though the cable box would be able to sit on my dresser, but it doesn't. Not a big issue, though.

I received this as a Christmas gift this past Dec (2007) and use it all the time. I travel frequently for work, and fell in love with the "lap desk" type of laptop holders that Hampton Inn has in their rooms. That was more in line line with what I was wanting, but since I have been using this, I am very happy with it. I use a 14"ish laptop at work and a 15" macbook at home, and have been very pleased with the way it keeps the heat dispersed when using either computer. I tend to have quite a few things running at once on the Mac, so it really has a tendency to get warm. That is when I pull out the Allsop, if I'm not already using it. I'd recommend this product/ we painted it to better suit our decor, but was easy to disassemble and put back together. It is sturdy and looks clean and modern.

The stand serves it purpose, but I was dissapointed with the poor packing and shipping. The stand was dusty had a large scratch on the top and looked as if someone else had used it before. The stand came with it's original box, but the box it was shipped in was also damaged during shipping resulting in a chipped corner. The stand serves it's function, but for full price it did not look brand new. I will not go through the hassle of returning the product only to spend money on shipping and possible recieving another damaged product.

This product is the ideal for cleaning CDs or DVDs. You could ruin your player with the dust that falls off the CD/DVD on to the lens. This is what happenned to my Pioneer DV525 player. This material does not act like any normal material and make sure no harm can come to your DVD or player. If you want to protect your investment (DVD or DVD Player) you must buy this. It is almost a lifesaver.
