Holds my C580 on my dash without moving. Makes for greater portability. A good alternative to the windshield mount which can fall off, especially with the C5XX series which are bulkier.

product works like a charm...simply put pros: can move from car to car easily no suction cup on the windshield just list and move/hide doesn't budge while driving cons: none so far

Hello, Garmin GPS is an excellent discovery.But their product can't give 100% satisfaction to customers.Because of it's STAND. The STAND which comes along with GERMIN GPS is the worst product I ever seen. It can't give any stability to your GPS. But whosoever discover DASHBOARD MOUNT has a great creative mind. I would give my strong advice to all............to go for this Product.

Be sure you want only the beanbag without the mount-- Unless you've lost only the bag, this is not much use without the appropriate mount.

This bean bag mount is smaller than the similar Bracketron product, which I also bought, and has a superior gripping base. I would definitely recommend this; especially given the price.

I love this device for my bicycle. It works very well, is very sturdy and is very secure. I would love to see a product with the option to buy two bicycle mounts since I have several different bicycles.

First, mounting was tricky as the unit will not fit larger diameter handlebars very well at all. I did not end up with the position of the GPS that I wanted, but it's close enough. As for securely mounting the GPS? I've riden several hundred miles since installing it without incident. This includes a 17 MPH body slam (@#!$ wet railroad tracks!) that left me looking at my front wheel with sky in the background (pain starts here)but the GPS still securely in it's mount. I can see from the construction of the mount that there are weak areas that may be a problem down the road. Also, getting GPS in and out of the mount with one hand is a trick. All told, a good value.

Product was a replacement for one that broke. Have been very satified with it's past usage.

I use my Garmin 305 on 3 bikes, and this extra mount kit does exactly what it is supposed to do...hold the GPS on the bike. By the way, I have used these mounts for a year and a half and (knock on wood) have not broken one yet.

I bought this mount to replace the original one that came with the GPS unit. This unit works great and is better then the original one.
