I bought this product with the thinking that the grass was greener with an amplified antenna. I was wrong. It works okay, but when compared with my old rabbit ears it didn't perform. The box states that the smart design of the product is for optimal HDTV reception without repositioning. They are liars. If anything I have to reposition this more than my non-powered rabbit ears. I am going to return this product, which in the end will save me money since I won't be paying to power the annoying led light on the front of the unit.

I purchased this item on July 08 and it give me perfect image for HDTV of the local channel. It's stunning. Love it. I also buy the other one for my shop.

This is actually the best head unit for the money and has all the features everyones claims without. Update it and the nav. but first learn how to use it and all its features before speaking because if you really want to talk about this stereo own it and know how to use it. If something doesn't work, i'll prove you wrong. The only thing that this doesn't have is voice prompting with exception to the bluetooth feature. All for around $600 stop complaining

Your next step after this purchase is contacting your local cable or satellite provider. Plan on watching tv th....th...th...th...that....just stutters. Quite frustrating. Stations that come in one day might not the next day or an hour later.

I bought the Viewsat VS2000 Ultra Free-to-Air Satellite Receiver from Amazon and when I was trying to use it did not work and when protesting to Amazon they told me that it is to HottechDeals that I had to protest against but they don't respond to the emails I sent them. I was told to return the item by mail. So I returned by mail the equipment and I was hoping that they would return my money or that would send me an equipment that works well. But they haven't done any of the two.
