I bought one of these a year ago. It stopped working after 14 months. When it worked, it worked well. Few false alarms (mostly because of the sun hitting it at a certain angle). For the money, I suppose it's worth it, but not much more!

I use the GE alarm system as a deterrant for any intruders. It surely does not have any fancy security features, but the loud noise will surely drive anyone trying to break in away! The alarms for the windwos however, could not be placed on my specific sliding doors and windows. Overall, this basic system serves its purpose of maiking a loud annoying noise to drive people away.

This product, in theory is a wonderful idea. However, the double sided tape fails miserably to hold the two sides of the alarm to the window/door surface. Indoor house temperatures were normal, no severe cold, heat, or humidity. But upon returning home the first day, one alarm had fallen and rung to the point of a dead battery. Within the first week, all four had fallen and were ringing their alarms -some faintly by that time and others at close to full decibal level. Would hot glue or that super tacky stuff the infomercial pushes be the answer?!?

I hope I never have to use this spray but if I do I am confident that it will do the job it is supposed to do. I bought this spray to have by my bedside and I have a keychain spray as well. This one was a little big for my pocket but it fits the bill for household protection.

I bought this over two years ago and it is still working fine. Easy to use. I tested it several times and the sensors each time worked. And the alarm sound is pretty loud as well. We now feel much safer when sleeping, knowing that the alarm would alert us if anyone is down stairs.

We had other lights but these are the best. They are dim until activated by motion - then they are powerful. An unexpected bonus is insects are not attracted to them (I quess it's because of the halogen.

I may have gotten a defective one but I could not get the sensitivity adjusted so that it did not go on and off all night
