I tried to buy this product on discount and I placed an order. After confirmation my credit card was charged. Sudenly, I received mail that my card will be refunded becouse I return this product, wich I never did. Of course, this product is now 20$ more than on that time.

I was a little cautious about ordering the i Pod after reading some of the negative reviews. But, it is the largest hard drive on the market and I need the storage room. So, I placed the order and crossed my fingers. It works great. I am syncing it to an HP Vista Home Premium notebook with 3 megs of memory. Syncing is fast and accurate. The movies and TV shows look great. Sound quality is outstanding and the battery life is beyond any other MP3 player I have used. In short, an outstanding product that delivers flawlessly.

For its size and good looks, performance, and functionality, this is the best portable media player on the market. Sure, Archos has their grey bricks with everything and the kitchen sink, but you can't slip those things into a shirt pocket much less a front pants pocket. I am currently looking at selling mine for a 3G Iphone, but this has been a great thing to have the past 6 months. Every kid in college with access to campus wifi should have one of these. I only gave this 4 starts because the 32 GB version exists and thats the only PMP that deserves a perfect rating.

I have been very impressed with this radio. The S.A.M.E. technology makes the difference. I can also go through a list to select only the alerts I'm interested in receiving. I am not annoyed at it when it goes off, in fact it's in my kitchen and now I can get the daily weather every morning and listen to the radio when I cook. I love it.

It is too bad Microsoft didn't (couldn't?) release the original Zune at a lower price point as to better compete with the iPod. I find this second generation Zune to be near perfect in its design, functionality, and overall feel. This is the third media player I have owned. My first two were by SanDisk. I find the SanDisk players feel very cheap and they simply remind me of toys. The usb cable for the Zune looks identical to the cord for my SanDisk Sansa though and so I wonder if SanDisk makes the Zune. I ordered my Zune from OfficeMax and so did not have a chance to play with it / try it out before purchasing it. For my wife's birthday, I got her a purple Ipod Shuffle (1 gb) and gave her my Grado SR 60 headphones for stationary listening (the stock ear buds are for on the go--we do need something better, though). She loves the Shuffle. It is tiny, clips on to a shirt pocket or collar, and holds a lot of tunes. As many are now eschewing full length CD's for downloaded singles, one can pick just the songs that one desires. Nice. In an informal survey in one of my classes, almost all of my students preferred downloading what songs they wanted and had pretty much stopped purchasing regular cds. I bought the SanDisk Sansa 1GB MP3 Player and had much better reception on the radio, longer playing time and just better overall sound quality. I probably would not be inclined to buy the 2GB version again, however, I do like SanDisk products overall.
