I have watched many historical b&w films with poorer transfers/more distortion than this, so it isn't UNWATCHABLE to me. I think many reviewers are spoiled by HD clarity in movies, you can't expect clear visual perfection in a 70+ year old film. That said, I'm echoing the other reviewers' disappointment in the overall quality because this film is such a visual masterpiece. I expect much more effort to be put into it as a project, more respect for the material. This is obviously a VHS tape transfer, and I think 'ARCHIVAL COLLECTION' is misleading. OK, so these 3 disks don't cover every single event in the history of the Olympics. If they did, no one would have time to watch them. And it may not include every event that some viewers think should be there, but it's still excellent. Not all of the US vs. USSR hockey game is there, but it is the finale most will want to see, and it is there. I really liked the wide selection of material, some that I remembered, some I'd never seen, and some that I'd somehow forgotten. Anyone with the mildest interest in Olympic athletics should be thrilled with this set.

It really shows you what was going on with the 1980 Olympic Hockey Team from the player's perspective. It talks about what was happening at the time and the mood of the nation, but best of all it gives the response from the opposing team, the russians! Nobody was supposed to beat these guys. A must have movie for any sports fan.

The second disk had a serious manufacturing defect making it unwatchable. I discarded the receipt when I received the item so I probably cannot return the DVD. I'm very dissatisfied I paid this much money for a product that had a serious and very visible manufacturing defect.

Another reviewer called this film "tense" and "visceral." I agree only with one of those adjectives -- visceral. The movie just doesn't move fast enough to keep the typical viewer's attention. Overall, good movie to see to remind yourself of the world that was, and still is, but it won't keep you on the edge of your seat.

I HAD CONTACTED THIS TRAINER (JOEL) TO ASK ABOUT ANOTHER DVD HE HAD PRODUCED FOR "YOU ON A DIET". HE ANSWERED MY EMAIL AND I PURCHASED BOTH "FIT PACK" AND THE OTHER DVD.....SOMETIME LATER, JOEL EMAILED ME TO SEE HOW MY PROGRESS WAS GOING....I AM CONVINCED THAT HE IS A GENUINE PERSON THAT IS HONESTLY CONCERNED ABOUT YOUR PROGRESS.

My mother sent this to my 18 month-old as a gift. I wasn't even letting her watch t.v. at the time but, I relented in this case. She LOVED it! She's now 26 months-old and still loves her "Tune" dvd.
