This is a real treasure -- the once-in-a-lifetime Opening Ceremonies to watch and enjoy over and over again. Other reviewers have been picky about the commentary, etc., but don't let that deter you. This is an absolutely thrilling DVD. It was incredible to see the first time on television; it's just as exhilarating and amazing on DVD. Plus, now you can really take your time to study and re-study the unbelievable imagination, logistics, and expertise that put together this extravaganza. this is how jerry jones makes his money, pimp out the cowboys any which way, thats why they are americas team, every where you look there are cowboys jerseys, pictures, books. this keeps them in the spot light. I just bought the super bowl collection and the complete history, it left me wanting more...cant wait for September!

Este tributo al mejor estadio de baseball es un buen video. Todo el contenido tiene un valor histórico muy rico, por tradición, por la mística. Lo que se puede apreciar es que hay parte del contenido de los diálogos del dvd conmemorativo de los 100 años del equipo pero bueno, para enriquecer las imágenes está bien. En general, este video no aburre, al contrario, nos ayuda a mantener vivos los recuerdos de esos años tan gloriosos, de campeonatos, de series mundiales, de juegos perfectos, de jugadas espectaculares, en fin, de tantas cosas hermosas que nos da el Yankee Baseball. I saw this movie at the theatre. It was remarkably inspiring. I wanted to go out that night and run a marathon. The director does a beautiful job of weaving the stories of several runners who are training for the Chicago Marathon. He takes both elite runners and everyday middle of the pack runners. Many, many inspiring stories! I plan to own it and show it to my cross country kids. THIS IS A MUST SEE FOR ALL RUNNERS!!!

I purchased a BD player a year ago and love it. So far my favorite BD DVD was the Planet Earth series but it now changed to Step into Liquid. I dont know how they captured these amazing scenes and it looks fantastic. I have a whole new appreciation for Surfing. I would definetly recommened purchasing this movie. You will be showing off your BD Player and TV to all your guests.

It is not only a fantastic surfing movie; it is a fantastic look at the world in 1968. They couldn't say what they say in this movie today. It would NOT be PC. There is nothing offensive about this movie socially, but the left wing PC'ers of the world would not let these guys describe the world so accurately. As far as I am concerned, this is the all time best manly movie about surfing around the world. Makes me want to walk out on my job, grab my son and surfboard and travel the world surfing!

This is a must have for any fan of the Cowboys. The historical disc is excellent, though brief, but the bonus disc is amazing since it contains the 1992 NFC Championship game against the 49ers in its entirety...well, almost, for it does speed up the 3rd quarter, which is odd since the rest is basically play by play, with replays even. I'm a huge fan and loved every minute of it. I would also highly recommend the Super Bowl 2 disc as well for true fans.
