I bought this video and two other Bike-O-Vision DVDs for my husband because he gets bored easily on the stationery bike. His complaint was that the video is boring, very seldom does your view move from the road ahead to see other scenery. The city of Savannah, Georgia looks like any-where-USA. Just roads, buildings. So what? I watched this video this morning to get my take on it and I agree with my husband. Boring.

I used these when they were VHS format - am very excited that they are available now in DVD format. They are great for keeping up your interest when using exercise machines. Perfect for cycling, treadmill, elliptical etc. Love the scenery. Never gets tiring or old. Makes me wish I could be in these places "in person". But this is the next best thing.

I love to cycle, and love this series of workout DVDs. This one is the shortest of the group (I have them all), only 40 minutes but really interesting because of the diverseness of scenery through Europe. They are great compliments to indoor cycling because the realistic view of the "forward motion" you get keeps you wanting to push ahead instead of slow down. Definitely a different perspective, virtually. I now have all their videos and use them over and over for daily workouts. There are a lot of rides so I never get bored. I also appreciate the lack of commentary (any riders on the screen) and graphics that are on similar cycling videos. I've recommended the series to all my cycling friends, and they seem to have gotten into them too.

This was the first one of this type I've gotten because of reviews I read on Amazon. The dvd was ok, but for me personally I don't like the onscreen distractions (like other riders in front of you) or pop-ups graphs, etc., like so many of the other indoor cycling videos these days have.

Great Video! I loved riding the Old San Juan cobbled streets and the mountain coffee plantations. It's a great compliment to indoor cycling workouts because the forward-motion views keep you wanting to push ahead instead of being bored. I got all fourteen dvds and use them daily. Best investment I've made other than my stationary bike. There are a lot of different scenic rides so I never get bored. I also appreciate the lack of distracting commentary, not having other cyclists on the screen, and graphics found in similar DVDs.

Lance Armstrong's first Tour de France victory is a must have for fans - his mountain stage victory is worth the price of the entire set. The video feed quality is generally good (there are occasional bad spots, but it's Lance - who cares!). Phil and Paul are in their usual form as commentators - you've got to love the patter (especially Paul's - he suffered up those climbs!).

I love to cycle indoors or out and this dvd is just what I'd been looking for and a great compliment to my workouts. The island scenes are great because I've been wanting to visit the Virgin Islands anyway. Beautiful place to take a vacation. The realistic forward motion views keep you pushing ahead. I ended up getting all their dvds. It's probably the best investment I've made other than my stationary bike. Many interesting and scenic rides- I'll never get bored. I like the lack of distracting commentary, cyclists on the screen in front of my views, and graphics found in the other DVDs I've tried. I recommend this one and am looking forward to their next one.

5 stars for the scenary/2 stars for the music. The background music is (very pleasant) classical music. If you want to buy this DVD to exercise to (like I did), you probably will not want to exercise to classical music. Ideally, there would be no music (just the sounds of nature).
