I don't have cable at home so I bought this and watched each episode over a week's time period. Loved it! Knowing only a minimal amount about the history of this time period I knew that they took a lot of liberties and hollywood-ized it but I found it to be very entertaining and engaging. The actors are all amazing and they drew me in to the stories. I can't wait for the second season.

This blu-ray will and has kept people who always fall asleep during a movie wide awake. Non stop action, vivid color and great sound.

Before I had bought Season 1 of Happy Days I had watch a couple episodes from later seasons, and I have to say that I prefer these episodes from season 1. Here are my reasons: these season 1 episodes were filmed with a single camera setup which I think gives the show a more 50's feel which is the time period in which the show is based, also these episodes were made before the show was almost changed to "Fonzie's Happy Days" and therefore the main characters are a little more balanced. Also instead of being filmed in front of live studio audience like the later seasons, these episodes were filmed with laugh tracks, so you don't hear a scream every time Fonzie enters a scene.

Parts 1 & 2 rate a full 5 stars. Part 3 not as good in comparison, give it 3 stars. Still recommend the bundle. Goodfella's is still my fave ganster flick, though.

This movie is really good. It has a mixture of some of Disney's classics, like Snow White and Cinderella. It is unusually long though. It is so long in fact, that it has to be on three different discs. It does have some parts that may be unsuitable for children, but that's the parents' decision. The 10th Kingdom is actually New York. Trolls found themselves there and have never seen it before, so they claimed it as the 10th Kingdom. Where they were orginally, there were nine kingdoms. Well, Virginia and her father end up in the magical world of the ninth kingdom, and the only way back to New York is though a specific mirror. While on their journey to find this mirror, they meet some strange beings, like a werewolf, an evil queen, a lying frog, and a singing ring. Watching it was an enjoyable experience.

If the cover for this low-brow action piece wasn't a hint, then you're probably one of the producers target audience. One of the things I think hurts hollywood is its irrepressible desire to shove the American flag down our throats buy making these "patriotic" movies. We have the American flag, Iraq, marines... and wrestling!!! I guess if cow-tipping is a hobby you enjoy as much as practicing a suplex, then this movie is for you. As for a review, it stank. If you see it on the shelf of your local video store, leave it there. If you're a hollywood producer, please stop making movies starring wrestling "stars". If your name is Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin, John Cena (The Rock is OK) please stick to your day jobs.

I watched this for the first time just a couple weeks ago and now I own the unrated special edition. I couldn't believe a movie like this was not a major release. A very powerful movie with heavy subject matter. It's the kind of movie that really gets inside of you. I thought the actors were great except from some minor slipping of the Irish accent of the two main characters. I truly think that this us an undiscovered gem of movies, a must own. That said, I think you also have to enjoy a certain type of movie to enjoy this like Braveheart, Goodfellas, etc. Some people might not like the violence, which I thought was necessary to tell the story effectively. I highly recommend this movie and wish there was a sequel or even a prequel.
