Being uncoordinated as I am, I have found this to be a relatively easy dance video to follow. The explanations are clear and she demonstrates the moves. I would recommend it, especially if you are a beginner who has a rough time walking and chewing gum at one time

I've been taking bellydance classes for over a year and have over 20 bellydance DVD's. I love this DVD and it's become one of my favorites. This is great for people who have taken some bellydance classes and want to be able to put moves together in a flowing fashion without the choppiness of trying to learn a choreography. It's exactly what I've been looking for and I like that there are transitions and combinations I haven't seen before. This is perfect for someone who just wants to dance, not drill moves, not learn a specific choreography and is looking for some new ways of putting moves together. This is a very nice product. She breaks down the dance nicely and it flows very easily. I have gone over it several times and hope to probably use it in future performances for a shorter solo.

For 80 minutes worth, this by far is one of the best bellydance instructional dvds for the absolute beginner. Michelle is a great teacher, a great dancer, she is kind and encouraging but at the same time you can tell she is serious is about what she teaches, she speaks in a clear, professional tone and voice, explains things slowly and carefully, and always gets to the point of things. She starts off with these excellent warm-up exercises and yoga-type conditioning, then begins to break down basic movements, moves on to some not-so basic movements, puts all the movements together, and teaches you 2 pre-shimmy drills. I do this workout once or twice a week to keep me motivated. I get tired of regular weighted exercise DVDs or super serious dance workouts. This DVD gives me a chance to workout without feeling as though I am working out. It keeps me motivated.

An excellent workout for the midsection of your body. It is especially good for the abs. It isn't too hard but may not be for the intermediate exerciser.

Hi-5 is a great DVD for kids. My 19 month old daughter cannot get enough. They are very educational and get the kids up and moving!!!

This is a great tutorial. I've had back problems for quite a few years, and I was delighted to see the yoga and hardcore exercises packed into this video. I can't say it completely healed up my back, but I can tell the muscles are so much stronger, and I can hold correct posture for much longer without pain. More importantly to most dancers, arms and posture are the biggest things so many dancers ignore or forget. If you don't have this skill set, you're going to look like a beginner for certain! Plus, the way she goes through how to do serpentine movements is so thoroughly broken down - even though I've been a tribal dancer for years, I learned so much.
