I rented this DVD from my library about a week ago. I'd always wanted to try yoga and although I'm in pretty good shape, I'm not that flexible so yoga intimidated me. Within 2 days of working with the DVD I knew that I had to buy my own copy off of Amazon! (BTW I just paid for regular shipping, but the DVD arrived in a day and a half. Nice!) I loved the sheer variety of routines on this DVD. They are split up into two levels, "as you get started" and "as you progress". Only a week into it, I'm still finding the "as you get started" routines very challenging but not impossible. I think that there's enough on this DVD to keep me interested and learning new things for at least a year or two! This was my first yoga dvd. i read such wonderful reviews so i had to buy it. i've had this dvd for about a month and i've noticed results! when i first put the dvd in, i thought it was a bit strange and was definitely not what i expected. i was skeptical that it would help me to lose weight. my old exercise "routine" would usually consist of cardio... either jogging/walking or on the elliptical. i would do it for about a month straight with no noticeable results. my current exercise routine consists of jogging/walking for about 2 miles and then doing both the "start your engines" and "fight fire with fire". i used to do just the 2 miles but saw no results until i started doing the yoga with it. so i could assume the results would come without the cardio (but i like to do it anyways). ... I bought this DVD from amazon and I was expecting an okay video, based on the reviews I had read on here previously. Boy, was I surprised! The 5 10-minute workouts seem more like 2 minutes and the woman is really enthusiastic, but not creepily so as so many fitness video instructors are (Fake smiles are just creepy!). She gives you a moderate/advanced pose, then tells you how to modify it to a beginner's pose. You don't need a whole bunch of equipment- just you, workout clothes, socks, shoes, a towel for the first section, and the video! No bands, no balls, no blocks. Just you and the video! I hate having to buy all of this special equipment the video says you just HAVE TO have. This one is amazing, and it burns your abs (in a good way)! This DVD has been in my library for a while now and I find different uses for it all the time. With the individual programs running from 15-60+ minutes, I can use the DVD for whatever my needs and time constraints are for that day. I often find myself using the "weights and resistance" programs without the additional equipment just because I like the poses and time limits in that section. The instruction on this DVD is great for a beginner and there are modifications given for the poses. I am not a beginner (but not an expert either), but I use this one all the time.

My husband and I have made a firm committment to start doing some yoga everyday and DVD's like this make it easy! I find Kundalini yoga not as uncomfortable as regular yoga. It's less about achieving some impossible balancing pose and and more about moving and breathing and attaining results quickly. The instructers (Ana Brett & Ravi Singh) are very pleasant and excellent teachers. i have only been doing Kundalini Yoga for beginners & Beyond (alternating with their Fat Free Yoga) for two weeks now (everyday, religiously!) and i feel my body getting into better shape already! i feel alot more confident and for the first time in my life i really believe that I can reach my goal weight and feel good about myself again! This dvd is short enough to squeeze into my (generally rushed) morning routine, but still gets the blood flowing and the stretching I need in order to get through the day. It is not very demanding, but is great for someone like me, who is recovering from an injury. I bought this DVD on a review that said it was good for recovering. I am going to buy his "AM yoga for your week" b/c I love Rodney's style. I even got my mom to try it when I went to visit her, and she's hooked. She went around telling everyone we saw how much she loves Rodney!! (we have yet to explore the PM yoga section, but I'm sure it's good)

I purchased this video to help improve my flexibility. In just a few short weeks I've already noticed an improvement. This is kundalini yoga so there are elements of meditation which I really enjoy. I feel so great after completing the session - would recommend it for individuals of all levels!

I like this video as well. It's easy to follow. I am a beginner and I was able to follow it. I will definitely continue to use it regularly.

This DVD is really inspiring..Although i am not a beginner i am not advanced either, so it is perfect for me. There are some moves that i can not do right now, but i hope to reach that level one day. I think everybody can benefit from this DVD as it has lots of different poses. This DVD is so cheap if you compare it to other DVD's and also if you take classes. And i always think personal yoga at home is so much meaningful than class, you can mediate easier.Music is really calming and environment she used so inspirational. I'm trying to find a good DVD to exercise, and I thought I'd try ballet - hey, who doesn't want to be more graceful, lean, and strong? All the other DVDs I saw reviewed on Amazon seemed to be for an existing dancer (which I'm not!) to refine technique, or a mix of ballet-Pilates or ballet-yoga. So you know who's doing this review - I'm very tall, 235 lbs, 30 years, good athletic background but not in great shape now.
