Julieta collaborates with an interesting mix of artists; La Mala Rodriguez, Juan Son and Natalia Lafourcade, to name a few. The entire concert is a fun spin on her popular songs, old favorites and even some new material. The tuba is great! I need more TUBA!! This DVD is definitely worth a look. Check it out.

Just Wanna say I Love This Film, I had it saved on my DVR, but then realized this was to great a show, I want the whole thing plus the bonus's. Awesome! VH1 - Classic Albums Version doesn't have at least 30min of the Original.

For those of us who enjoy Pink Floyd and the classic Dark side of the Moon, the band takes you through the process of the recording, inspirations etc. I couldn't rate this any higher!

Another great DVD from classic albums. The only downside in the series is that EVERY song from an album is NOT talked about, that's too bad but I guess I can't complain. The surviving members of The Doors are interviewed often throughout, especially keyboard/bass player Ray Manzarek who fondly looks back on the Doors glory days of the late 1960's, and at nearly 70 years old, is a little worn like old leather but still a pretty cool hippy from the 60's. Densmore shows some interesting aspects of his drumming in the 'special features' and how Jazz drummers influenced him and how to make his playing more confortable and with tones, etc. Not surprisingly, "Light My Fire" gets more of the attention as compared to the other songs on origins, arranging, etc and a brief clip from the Ed Sullivan show was fun ... Anyone out there who is a huge fan of American music has to get this video. It allows viewers to glimpse into a time not to distant from the Beat poets, and see how artistic striving, and good feeling worked itself into something unique and and fervently American. Even though most of the members are Canadian, they capture the American spirit of Rock-n-Roll and change in a way most groups were incapable of doing. Check it out and then buy "What happened to Kerouac".

without a doubt, rory is a modern blues legend, the various live cuts coming out with his acoustic slide and rocking blues all show the tremendous talent he had, an inspiration to even an oldschool guy like me to sharpen my licks and get it down, non better , a sad loss to the rock music hall of fame

I have this CD so the content was no surprise; love it just as much as the CD! Bryan Adams brings all this classic music to you accoustically while still keeping it high energy and entertaining. Great backup orchestra that really adds a lot.
