I bought this for my children to see. I had not seen the films since the Eighties. I must admit I only wanted to purchase the first but, being out of print and much more $$ than the triology, I decided to get this. I recall not liking the second and enjoyed the idea of the third. But seeing it after almost thirty years, they are all fun and my children loved them. We have been having interesting discussions about the time-space continum ever since. Christopher Lloyd is excellent in all three films. I definitely recommend for your collection.

This has got to be one of the best HD DVD's I own. The story of Beowulf is well known, and most high school students have read back during my time. This is a great animated version that features stars like Angelina Jolie and Anthony Hopkins. The HD Version is crisp and well worth the extra expenditure of cash. The story is very simple to follow, of a King who has brought a curse upon the Danish Kingdom, and the hero Beowulf comes to save him. However, the boisterous Beowulf gets caught up in his own image and by saving the kingdom may also bring it's demise. Can Beowulf redeem himself. It is a lesson in humility and following through. Watch the movie to see how this story is going to play out, and be amazed by the realistic graphics also.

What a perdictable but funny movie in an age where women go to great lenghts for perfection. Enjoyed it with my sisters who are undergoing plastic surgery.

I am shocked and disgusted that this movie has received such a high rating. Hands down, this is the worst movie that I've ever had the displeasure of sitting through.

This DVD was hilarious--it you don't mind watching a movie that hasn't been 'digitally re-mastered' and you like comedy's--this is a great flick! It arrived on time and was brand new just at the description listed. Very happy with this purchase.
