I'm 20 years old and i grew up on these movies. my mommom had all of them on tape and i watched them until they were worn out. The princess who never laughed was my favorite but i also loved snow white, repunzal, the frog prince, three little pigs. I can't wait to get these. over time my tapes eventually disappeared . I have a few i found on various websites . None of my friends have ever heard of these movies and i feel bad for them because they are classic. I cant wait to be able to show my children the movies i watched as a kid.

This is a great movie and the restoration is fantastic. The picture is clear with no noticeable scratches or dust, and the color that was added to make it resemble with looked like in at it's theatrical release gives it a sunny glow that in my opinion, gives it more life. My only problem is that upon buying this dvd, I found that the "2" disks amazon has in it's description, is really just 1. There are no bonus features except for the commentary that was included in previous releases. If you must have special features, buy The Godfather Trilogy - The Coppola Restoration it has a boat load of special features, and you can get it on blu-ray or dvd for around $65 online. I thought The Godfather Part II was just as good as the first one, but I still like the original better. A few years after the original, Michael Corleone has risen to power as the new Godfather. While seeing Michael's story, we travel back in time and see a young Vito Corleone become the Godfather that he was in the original. Michael goes before the the United States Senate committee and tells the committee that he is not in the mafia and had nothing to do with the killing of the heads of the five families. Some parts were kinda confusing for me, because I haven't watched these since I was in either 4th or 5th grade. If you love classics, and the Godfather series, you'll love THE GODFATHER PART II!!!

I enjoy any of John Grisham's books about the underdog fighting high corporations and winning. I usually read the book first and then compare it to the movie. The movie stays with the plot of the book well and the acting is well done. I like the fact that the actors that usually portray the characters in the books are big name actors with a lot of experience in their craft. Their performances are stellar which makes the film even more fun to watch. Even though I have seen this several times I wanted to added to my collection of DVDs.

I have read just about everything the character or Dracula has ever appeared in from the Bram Stoker's novel to the Marvel Comics adaptation and beyond. Likewise I have seen many Dracula movies from Nosfaratu to Bella Lagosi to the Hammer House films. My favorite adaptation of all the movies is this one. While it could never live up to the classic Lagosi movie it is it's contemporary equal. Everyone has their take on the legendary blood sucker but this one is at the top. My favorite scene is when Dracula (Gary Oldman) comes up behind Harker while he is shaving causing Harker to cut himself. Dracula then turns his back to him and while facing the camera, licks the blade and quivers his lip. Truly one of the creepiest moments in filmdom!
