No where on this page does is say that the second disc is a pretty boring DVD game. Nowhere else on here does it say the digital copy disc is only compatible with PCs. Luckily, the actual Blu-Ray disc IS multi-regional. I live here in Australia and the disc works fine, just finished watching it. It's a beautiful film in high-definition and completely mind-boggling. I'm not going to bore you with what I think the film is about or is like, but the Blu-Ray is a bit of a bummer. 3 stars for the whole shebang, but I rate the film four stars.

Most standard dvd players nowadays have a feature that lets you upscale a standard dvd to 1080p. So you can enjoy your old dvds in maximum resolution on a high definition television. You can find the standard dvd versions of these 3 movies, and buy them for about $40 grand total. So you would be paying an additional $40 to own this blue-ray set. It's NOT worth it!!!

I first saw these movies years ago when they first came out and at that time I didn't think much of them. My son is a fan, so I bought the HD DVD box set for him as a gift and I have to say, this time around I was mightily impressed. The special effects and the True HD soundtrack are brilliant, and I enjoyed the story this time around. If you have a HD DVD player, these are well worth the investment, superb audio and visual with non stop action, a great combination.

as soon as I saw him eat that cookie I figured out how many script errors were made and since I can't read all 3000 reviews just had to add my 2c...why would u bother with a matrix concept if u just wanted to milk babes for AC/DC??? They grow up? Kill em... and that screen depicting the vertical scans of random numbers, and only one quick shot to show how it is really interpreted, as a GD camera!!! and what is with the high tech gear that is available in sposedly '99 (i.e. learn to fly, UFC, etc.) and they use KEYBOARDS!!!! not even ONE voice command??? and that phone booth interface was soooo ingenious, beam me up Scooby Doo...YIKES!!! really luved the scene going thru security post 9/11 with all that commando gear, major yuk of the film...and why on God's good earth would they have one source for the codes to Zion, ... After being so disappointed/confused with "The Matrix Reloaded" after seeing it in the theater in 2003, I didn't even see this film on the big screen when it came out, instead renting it once it came out on home video. After viewing, I realized that I missed the wrong Matrix film to skip for a long period of time. Whereas "Revolutions" does not come close to the first film in duplicating the originality of the idea, it superbly triumphs the sub-par second film by eliminating much of the philosophical mumbo-jumbo and instead focus on a plot that the average viewer has a chance to understand.
