This is an excellent movie if you want to think. This movie had me thinking about life in completely different ways. Not only is the dialogue compelling, but the visuals are trippy - emphasizing even more what the movie is about.

This movie gets it all right. As a child of the 70s, I lived through it all and it's documented very well in this movie. We didn't have hazing at my high school (thank God!), but everything else is just like what I went through. The constant pot smoking, the music, the muscle cars, the clothes, he even nailed obnoxious coaches too. And, of course, this movie was a springboard for new stars. I was like the redhead in this movie - I hated the 70s (until punk/new wave came along), but watching this movie makes me nostalgic and makes me realize I had a better time than I thought....

This is one of my favorite movies of all time! It has a good plot, kinda similar to true romance. If you like the outlaw love stories, with the occasional murder, and drug scenes, this is right up your alley.

I thought this movie was alright. I saw it one night while flipping through the channels. The ending kind of suck though, but everybody had good performances.
