The Mummy (Widescreen Collector's Edition) is a great adventure movie that is a bit like the Indiana Jones movies but with a mummy. Acting and plot are ok but one sees this movie for the action scenes and the special effects. The music is quite good also. This movie is nothing like Mummy with Boris Karloff and if one expects it to be the same then one will be sorely disapointed. However, if one comes in and expects a thin action driven plot with plenty of special effects then this is a dandy of a movie. 4/5.

For any naysayers hexing this film, a pox upon you. This is Saturday afternoon matinee fare as it was meant to be, served up hot and delicious. Action, monsters, curses, liable heroes and heroines, flesh eating things, and more. A bowl of popcorn, what more could one ask???????????? Get this one and it's prequel.

Item arrived on time and in great shape. Who does not like a good wrestern? Robert Duvall is always great to watch!!!!!!!!!

The Mummy is wholesome fun, but also just so utterly absurd that it occasionally verges on the painful. The characters are zany but two-dimensional, the plot lacks even a modicum of feasibility, the acting is over-the-top, and the writing is only half as witty as it needed to be. The movie's saving grace is that it refuses to take itself seriously, thereby leaving the viewer room to do the same. For all its flaws, the film manages to be fast-paced and inexplicably enjoyable. I would give it three and a half stars if I could, but since I like the genre I'll round up.

Another great adventure with lots of action and computer generated visuals. You can always count on Brendan Fraser for a great performance. Another winner.

This movie is too funny!!! I have seen this movie with my husband like over 50 times, and I still love it! A funny Sinbad plays a man out to make money. He schemes and finds his way into a loving family home, and all kinds of heck breaks loose! The head of the family, played by Phil Hartman, believes that Sinbad is his oldest friend in the world. This movie shows how great friends can be, and will keep you laughing, no matter how many times you see it!! There are also a couple of mobsters that make the movie very funny!! A must see family movie for every one!!!!!

This is a true story about a woman who was driven to the point of insanity because of an abusive husband. The movie is set during a day and age where there was no help for the abused. My mom had bought this movie off of Amazon and shown it to me. Its worth every star and more. You start to feel deeply for the children and their mother who suffer great abuse at the hands of their father/husband. This movie is full of vivid horrendous scenes that feel very real. You start to feel immense hatred towards the husband, his parents, and her mother. How can they sit back and do nothing when their son is beating on his wife infront of his children?!
