I am a huge fan of the SATC show so I was a bit worried when they announced they were making a movie but it ended up being great. I am starting to think that they can do no wrong, but who knows. The movie follows where the show left off to an extent except it is a few years later. I thought that it was well done and would recommend it to anyone who liked the show or to anyone who wants a refreshing chick movie.

I bought Sex and the City-The Complete Series for my daughter because I loved watching it when it first was on HBO. She had been watching the toned-down version on cable and was enjoying it so much. So now when she finishes a DVD she gives it to me and I am loving it as much (if not more) as the first time I saw it! It comes packaged so nicely, I received it promptly and I am 100% satisfied! This is a must-have for anyone who also enjoyed the movie as much as we did!

Having thoroughly enjoyed the series, I was very much looking forward to the movie. It was a terrible disappointment. The characters, who through the series had developed into complex characters, seem to have forgotten everything they learned, and were once again flat characartures. The first hour moved very slowly. There was also a LOT of very explicit sex, to the point that I was embarassed. This was not supposed to be pornography, but it may as well have been. In short, stick with your fond memories of the series, and imagine your own ending; seeing this will only disappoint.

I love Sex and the City. This is a DVD that will give you hours of entertainment and you'll watch again and again. I can't seen to get enough of the show. The girls are unique and every woman would love to have good friends they can count on.

I thought they never would put out Mannequin2 on DVD, then it came in a set. The first one is great about a mannequin coming to life at nights and falling in love with the male window dresser. The second one has a different actress and leading man... not as good.

I think in the 3rd season of SATC the series gets into its stride and it becomes the SATC that people have grown to love. It's a toss up which is my favorite between season 3 and 4 but my absolute favorite episode is Hot Child in the City found in season 3!

Big Trouble in Little China is a cult classic. Like most cult classics (Raising Arizona, Robocop, Matrix, Dumb and Dumber, etc.) you're either going to "get" this movie or you won't. The FX in this movie can be cheesy - they didn't have a huge budget. But what works fantastically with the script is the off the wall fusion of red neck machismo and Kung Fu mysticism. Kurt Russell gives a memorable performance as the fearless and not so bright hero of the story, all the while doing this lame John Wayne imitation that somehow manages to work for him.
