If it had been titled "The Big Night Out", people may have thought the movie was about Elisabeth Shue's big date with her "boyfriend". Then people would have thought that night was to be filled with wondrous and fun adventures on the big night out.
However, the title is not the best, but the movie is.

There are a few naughty words in the movie, but they fit the situation.
The movie is cute. There are several scenes that make me chuckle inside.

I recommend this movie to anyone, even hardened old crones. ha

Vincent D'Onofrio of Law and Order:Criminal Intent plays a very significant part.

This film is about a couple who became cousins by marriage. Unfortunately, their spouses turn their backs on them and start having an affair. The couple (Ted Danson and Isabella Rosellini)meets each other for the first time innocently at their aunt and uncle's wedding. What happens in the next few hours... we as an audience get to empathize with the choices they make in their present lives. Lots of laughs and lots of food for thought. That is why I like the old movies..

Cheetah is one of those movies that I wore the tape out on as a kid. It tugged my heartstrings with the poachers and racing schemes. But it also made me smile when I was shown that people *did* care about animals.

I was 8 when it first came out, and my mom made sure I had a copy the moment the tape came out. I played it all the time, along with The Last Unicorn, Labyrinth, and the old Shaggy Dog movies. She had to replace copies every so often, especially after a hurricane decimated my collection.

I'm so glad I have the chance to own this movie again. It makes finals week much easier to bear.
