With the passing of Heath I was glad just to be able to locate a copy of this movie. 1 I just plain liked it. 2. Heath is in it. 3. Julia Stiles... need I say more! 4. It takes place in Seattle. 5. Funny, funny , funny. OK its not 10 things... Heath's passing was a tragedy and to not remember him for his early works would be a shame.

It's all about the 40's! Both my wife and I are 44, and we both stopped watching it 43 minutes in! We looked into one another's eyes for 41 seconds, and after rolling them, said in unison, "You've Got To Be Kidding That Was the Worst EVER!" (By the way, that phrase with Characters, Punctuation and Spaces -- totals 48! I'm glad to see WE weren't the only ones to quit in the 40's minutes mark of the film. This is BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD!!!!!!!

Why? because your image is beautiful, classy, pure, important. You do not need to get involved with crap like this because you are much better than that. I love you but don't turn me off like this again. Do the hit woman or the fairy tales or romance just anything but the ghetto stuff.

A real classic and enjoyed by everyone in the family. It is a movie that we can gather together to watch.

I had mixed feelings about the movie and yet its something I wanted to see. After watching the movie it gives me something inspiring about gay life. Its not Beautiful thing - thats one of my all time favorites, but its up there for being a sappy love story that has some very controversial topics. I would have liked a more sexier scene. The unrated could have been rated R. I give it a 4 Star. Worth buying and watching again

Pirates and kids are always a hit. This movies translates a children's classic tale from the Atlantic Ocean to the space of the galaxy in a Star Wars mix of technology, Robots and cute little aliens ( Morphy). Mutiny comes at an unexpected time, but the captain, the astronomer and Jim make it away alive. Getting back the ship and bringing back the treasure is another story altogether and it brings young Jim to his full abilities and courage. The technology seems more like magic and space like a small ocean, but the fantasy is pretty flawless? It is a fun movie, but lacks that classic edge due to the Disney 'formula' approach?

Now THAT'S more like it!!! After four horrendous sequels that made ZERO sense, Hollywood brings back Jamie Lee, pretends that parts 3 - 6 never happened and makes the best Halloween since part 2. A brilliant continuation of the story line. Expertly directed, superb acting, a great cast, even with Josh and his pillow fight hair. LL rocks in this movie. Start to finish a film FINALLY worthy of the Halloween name. One again it should have ended after this but Hollyweird saw $$$ again, and we had to sit through the so so part 8. This film however??? HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

I bought this set solely based on the "Life Has Been Good To Me" number because I wanted to see it in 3D. (I had previously seen the clip on the internet.) I was quite disappointed to find that this glorious number had been cut at the beginning and end. So the people who have complained that these are the syndicated (cut) versions know what they are talking about. I feel like the product was misrepresented and I am considering returning it. The cuts in the shows make many of the transitions very choppy. I wish I had read all the Amazon reviews before purchasing this.

'Mysterious Skin' definitely tackles a wallop of a subject, and in doing so, it fearlessly portaits an utterly heart-breaking, though moving, and quiete often disturbing story that is ultimately powerful, and yes, mysterious. The story is about two 18 year old boys, Neil and Brian, who were victims of sexual abuse 10 years ago by their little league coach (Bill Sage). The film focuses on each boy as Brian desperately tries to remember what happened to him while the other, Neil, can't forget. In Brian's search for answers, he comes across Neil in a group picture from their little league team whom he believes has the answer to what Brian calls his "lost time". I wake up. I take a shower. I use soap. I eat breakfast. Without the newspaper. I go to class. I power on the DVD player. I watch this DVD. It's pretty preposterous but fairly decent. If you can't suspend your disbelief. You'd have to be brain-damaged to think that this scheme would work. I think I gave it three stars, but I need to check my notebook. I wake up ....
