This was a great movie. The chemistry between the teacher and Annabelle is awesome. The movie would be better with an alternate ending.

DVD : I, Claudius
Robert Graves wrote the book this fine Masterpiece Theater version is adapted upon in 1977, eight years before his death. Graves himself was a survivor- most notably surviving the trenches of World War I as an English Infantry Officer, (which was no small feat considering the typical 80% casualty rates- at the Battle of the Somme he was listed as having died from his wounds). Known best for his poetry, his sparkling translation of "The Twelve Caesars" and his friendship with conscious objector "Mad Jack" Siegfeid Sassoon, Graves was awarded the 1934 James Tait Black Memorial Prize for both "I, Claudius" and for the sequel, "Claudius the God." Fortunately, this small screen adaptation by the BBC is just as good as the book.

So how's this screen adaptation? Scary. Thought provoking. ... Read More

Actually, I was having a sleepless night & changing TV channels, i came across this movie where Syed was having an argument with his friend in the toilet. This movie could be boring to some because it limits you between the party-holder-toilet & Syed's Apartment. I loved it because I found it amazing how some guy can be in so deep love with this girl but during their relationship he doesn't show his affection, his passion & his love. They always argue & argue about everything and anything. She leaves him because he is so proud to admit his mistakes & to prove his love. & when he doesn't, he became to know it was already late. It is sad, but down-to-earth.

I have never laughed so hard at a completely serious film.

Wow...this is capital-A AWFUL, but deliciously so.

Yes, they got a lot of stuff from 'Airplane' here, but that's missing the point. Somebody made a film where Sterling Hayden actually says, "I picked the wrong day to quit smoking!" And he MEANS it!

Seriously! I howled!

And then the stock characters, sprinkled throughout the cabin, stricken with that horrific mysterious disease known as "food poisoning"!

When you get to the part where the post-traumatic-stress-disorder ex-pilot has to fly the plane, and his estranged wife ends up being the co-pilot, your abdomen will hurt from laughter, which for me sucked because I watched this during my recuperation from hernia surgery...

It's ... Read More
