I took my two boys (age 5 and 4) to this cool flick and while they ran around the theater I was glued to the big screen. A very enjoyable fun entertaining movie for everyone. My boys did settle down and were also glued to the screen. I will buy this DVD when it comes out. Another real good family movie.

I was on a long flight back from California when I had the choice between watching Kung Fu Panda on a tiny television screen four feet away from me, or read the SkyMall catalog. I wisely chose to watch Kung Fu Panda.

I was curious as to how Kung Fu Panda would present itself: as a Lion King-style retelling of ancient Chinese myth, or as a love note to kung fu films from an American perspective. I'm pleased to report that it's the latter.

You know the story: Po (a restrained Jack Black) adores the Furious Five but is too fat and slow to ever hope to become one of them and then fate does precisely that. It's the heroes who have the real problem (each representing a different kung fu style and all voiced by a roster of celebrities, including Angelina Jolie, Jackie Chan, ... Read More

This was the most original Pixar film since Toy Story, in my opinion. Keep it up Pixar!

Kung-fu and martial arts film fans may at first think a kiddie-kung-fu film wouldn't be as interesting as a live action, adult, kung-fu film. And they'd be wrong! Sure it's cartoon animals fighting, but they're still pretty wicked fights. The film is well paced and entertaining. It has all the other standard trappings of a quality modern day kid-flick: humorous characters, engaging plot, important life lesson learned by film's end. And as a bonus, Jack Black sings a modern version of "Kung-Fu Fighting" w/ Cee-Lo. Ska-doosh!

This movie makes me wanna cry. I love the actors and Black Jack is totally different in this movie. Worth to watch with boyfriend or husband, haha.

When Gene Hackman is in a sports movie, it's impossible to see him as anyone other than coach Norman Dale from Hoosiers. Unfortunately, Keanu Reeves is more Shooter than he is Jimmy Chitwood. Nonetheless, this travesty of a sports movie was given the nod, and the rest is history.

The setup for the movie is stolen straight from Major League. A pro team has no players, but this time it's a strike instead of an insane owner. A wily, unknown coach is hired to build a team. A motley crew of assorted clichés is soon picked up.

Once again Coach Hackman amazes with his complete lack of coaching ability, as he insists on picking up a former college QB with a rag-arm to lead his team. Surely there were countless other guys in the Arena league or in the CFL who would have loved the chance at the NFL, ... Read More

This movie is great. It is entertaining, exciting, and full of "suspense" in that it keeps you guessing. At the same time, it has a few "holes" in it whereas it remains unclear the exact purpose of some of the characters, the "squirrel lady" in particular. I am hoping that the book lends more insight into this significant character. It does encourage me to read the book. I feel that the movie slights her real interaction with the overall plot. For that reason, I give this movie a four-star rating instead of a five. Meanwhile, don't be discouraged. The movie is quite enjoyable, and remains one of my favorites.

This is a good film for all ages. It has a different storyline than Finding Nemo so please don't use that as a reference. Alot of ppl are comparing them and the only thing that is the same is they're looking for a son and thats only part of this film. My 5 and 3 y/o love this film and think it's very funny.

the trailer makes this movie look like a jake black free for all comedy. i am not a big fan of j. black but i was looking for a stupid movie to enjoy while a little drunk. i really enjoy mos def's character in 16 blocks so i was happy to see him in something different. my problem with this movie is that its actually a warm felt movie with a different plot and very moving performances. it was a good movie just different from what the trailer looks like

"High Fidelity" is on my top-five all-time desert island movie list. After watching it for the millionth time, I came across two errors. First, at the beginning of the movie (Chapter 2), Laura leaves, Rob slams the door, and then tells us his top-five break-ups in chronological order, as follows: Alison Ashmore, Penny Hardwick, Jackie Alden, Charlie Nicholson, and Sarah Kendrew. Charlie Nicholson was actually number three, and Jackie Alden number four. (Rob's relationship with Jackie, you will recall, was a direct result of his entanglement with Charlie.) This error is corrected in Chapter four, when Rob correctly states that Charlie is number three.

The second miscue occurs in Chapter 10. This is the scene where Rob is cowering under his covers, imagining Laura having sex with Ian. Rob then turns to us and says ... Read More
