Hayley mills is a fine actress, but she was one of the best child teen actresses of all time. And this movie was her crowning glory. It's alot better than the newer version which is not a bad flick at all. But this one had the top performances of the late Brian Keith and the wonderful Maureen ohara to back up the story. You have alot of other great reviews to tell you about the story in detail but this movie remains one of the best movies of it's type ever made. Adults can love this story and rewatch it over and over as the premise is so good. The characters are realistic and it doesn't talk down to it's audience. That says alot for a kids movie. I believe this is the best of the Pollyanna movies. There is nobody like Hayley Mills. It's a sweet and funny way to return to your childhood. I'm enjoying introducing Pollyanna to my grandchildren and pleased to see that it's not all video games but that the simple things still appeal.

The Trouble With Angels is a film about two girlfriends who plays a series of pranks at a convent school, much to the displeasure of the mother superior(Rosalind Russell). In the end, the girls made peace with the nuns and their schoolmates at the end of their semester. Hayley Mills and June Harding also stars in this classic family film.

It was bought for my dad for Christmas and he loves it and I would suggest this movie for anyone whom loves laughing and classic comedies

Get that warm "Summer Magic" feeling! This is one of those films that you can view at any time or at any age. Hayley Mills is especially charming and Burl Ives and Dorothy McGuire are just a few in the rest of the superb cast. Get this DVD and watch it some Sunday evening. It will perk you right up!

For an oldie, it's pretty good. Good rainy day movie for young teens. The fx still good. Disney collectable.

When I was a little girl - I didn't fully appreciate this film as much as I do now. The reason for doing so was that, I loved the more romantic & old fashioned life action movies, that Disney is well known for, such as such as "Pollyanna" & "Summer Magic". But over the years, I have grown fond of this movie and now it is one of my very favourite Disney movies to watch. Unfortunately, I have not yet read the novel on which the movie is based on, so all I can remark on is the film itself. The locations used for the film are exotic and the music used in the film fits both the tone of the movie and adds to the Greek atmosphere, although the title song "The Moon Spinners" used at the beginning of the film could be viewed as a bit much. What can I say? This is a wonderful movie for both kids and adults- lots of famous stars, well-known tales from Hans Christen Anderson, and that wonderful animation from Rankin-Bass. A clean, wholesome movie from 40 years ago, that still manages to entertain!
