I have a copy of the 2006 release of "The Easter Bunny Is Comin' To Town" and this 2008 Deluxe Edition and have compared them. The deluxe edition has definitely improved the quality. I checked it on our tv and computer. It isn't noticeably clearer, mind you, but the motion is less choppy, more smoothed over, making it a better video to watch. I'm not sure why the 2006 version was like this. The old VHS tape we have of it was smoother than the 2006 dvd, too. All in all, it's a fun, good feelin', holiday classic that an avid Rankin Bass fan like me can't do without. People, if you get a copy, save your eyes and get this newer one.

Just my opinion.......As a two pack of movies...this pack is GREAT!! You know sometimes you get a pack and one is good and the other sucks? Well this is not the case. A must have for Lifetime fans!

CHROME AND HOT LEATHER, another biker epic from the 70's starring the man, the legend, the best crazed over the edge psycho in the history of motion pictures: William Smith. Ok, this bugger won't win any awards but it has Big Bill. What else does one need?

The other reviews are pretty exhaustive and informative... please read them, those folks put a lot of effort into typing them in for us. As for mine you can read the rest or not... just read the title, it is all you really need to know. The 1937 version is really, really bad, too bad even for me and I LOVE old bad serials. This version, with Lloyd Bridges (who later starred in Sea Hunt) is actually good, with special effects consistent with this era and a pretty good story with a few lame bits to pad out the serial for a few more weeks worth of episodes. I recommend this version highly, kind of like a really bad, and cheesy Casablanca without the acting, and drama. Great stuff!

To really stir thing up Arnold Dix (Peter Graves) who also has eyes for Gwyneth is unscrupulous and does nefarious acts agent the Greeks. I played JR. in "Deep Jaws." I'm glad this is coming out on DVD, because it's nice to have a film I was in come out on DVD - but I can't honestly say I can imagine anyone thinking this is a good film. Now if only someone would release the other cinematic materpiece I was in - "Meateater" - which was NOT a porn film.

Recently I came across a low priced Radar Men From the Moon DVD and decided to get it on a lark. Now I'm hooked on serials and rocket men movies. The inner kid in me loves the rocket suit and the flying footage and the space ship and the big ray guns and explosions and stunts...!

I love the movie, which is why I bought it, not knowing I couldn't play it on my DVD player. I didn't see or understand afterward the region2, deal. So I have a DVD of a movie I loved, and can't watch it. They will not accept it back as I had opened the package.
