I loved this movie. It was fun to watch and was a more realistic Peter Pan.

This is the best show ever written. Funny, funny, funny. Sweet, romantic, wholesome and did I say funny. Its not your typical american comedy obviously, its British! But those Brits know how to write a good show, and they got Dame Judi Dench, WOW! and she stayed for the entire run of the show, what class!!! Geoffrey Palmer, great, great casting. I cant say enough good things about this show. I'd give it 10 stars but it only goes to 5 on this chart.

I've loved this movie for years. It always cheers me up. Kevin Kline won a best supporting oscar for this movie. He is a psuedo intellectual who is jealous of Jamie Lee Curtis's characters crush on John Cleese. Between Kline driving on the wrong side of the road and being a complete idiot. Much laughter! Geoffrey Palmer's acting was good, as usual. It arrived in a timley manner and the DVD was of good quality.

The final half hour is an overwrought shoot out aboard a stealth craft that is too long by 25 minutes. Nothing happens except a lot of fake bullets fly endlessly. Otherwise, the plot, thinly disguised as a spoof on Rupert Murdoch, involves the usual megalomaniac -in this case, a media mogul - bent on creating world havoc for his own gain. Brosnan is cool in the early going, and the opener, involving an arms bazaar and a nuclear bomb carrying jet fighter is great, as usual with Bond films. The story line overall is just so-so. The title track by Sheryl Crowe is one of the better Bonds.
