For as long as I can remember, I have been fascinated by Henry VIII. So of course I was excited when Showtime presented The Tudors! If you're someone who wants everything to be 100% accurate to history, then this isn't for you. But if you can put that aside and just appreciate the series for what it is, you'll love it. You can see all the glamour and gore of the Tudors. Henry VIII was a true Renaissance man, and this series shows that quite well. The costumes and sets are just amazing. View it as Historical Fiction, if you must. It's quite enjoyable and after watching one episode, you'll be eager to see all of them...

We have watched all the Three Musketeers. The one with Gene Kelly is the best. You cannot beat Gene Kelly's dancing and acrobats. This movie rates second. It is a wonderful tribute to the other one. Lots of laughs and just plain funny with great acting.

This movie was wonderful, and based on a true story about how the Army just wanted to slaughter all it's cavalry horses because they became "obsolete". Not slaughter for food, just slaughter. Typical Army waste, and a shame for such noble creatures. I'm proud that these Cav guys stole them and took them to Canada. If you love horses, this movie will speak to you.

Directed by Russell Mulcahy, the movie stars: Kyle Maclachlan, Patrick Stewart, Gabrielle Anwar, Danielle Calvert, Omar Gooding, Jason Durr, Vinnie Jones and Tom Mison. Filmed in Thailand, the film itself is based loosely on the novel of the same name by Jules Verne. It tells the story of escapees from a civil war camp that hijack a balloon and set sail to the skies only to have their balloon fly to a 'mysterious island' in the Pacific. There, they try to find refuge but end up facing all manner of giant animals and insects. Deep in the island lives Captain Nemo who is a recluse that is working on a bomb that could destroy an entire city. He offers aid to them all providing they help him with his cause. Sadly, they refuse and are sent out into the island. Yet, once they arrive, other dangers await them as there ... Read More

DVD : Things to Do in Denver When You're Dead
So it's a Tarantino knock-off. So it's too self-aware and big for its britches. For crysakes, just sit down, pop it in the DVD player and suspend your disbelief for 90 minutes or so. This movie is just plain fun to watch. It's on the very short list of movies I actually want to own.
