Not usually a fan of British humor, but this was one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. My hubby and I were on a plane when we started to watch it and had people in the surrounding 10 rows wonder what the hell we were laughing so hard about. A must see!

I absolutely love this movie and the special features. It is action packed so there is never a lull, and it pulls on your heart-strings. It is a true story and for once, a movie actually got close to the truth. For some who were actually in Somalia serving our country, this movie may be a little hard to watch, my ex boyfriend could never watch this film because it was too realistic and brought back too many memories. But because it is realistic it is a great movie. I highly recommend this to anyone who likes true stories, drama, and war movies.

I don't even know why people would even compare this movie to The Titanic. Pearl Harbor Came out in 2001--4 years after The Titanic. It also came out just in time for The 60th Anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I was living on Hickam AFB, Hawaii, right across the street from Pearl Harbor when the DVD was first released and I bought it right away. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I was basically living right where the whole battle took place. Living on the base and watching this film, I immediatley felt the undenying emotion of the whole bombing and thought the love triangle was very realistic. Things that really do happen in everyday life--especially in military life. Also, like somebody already said in one of their reviews--"IT'S A MOVIE, NOT A DOCUMENTARY!"

For a very good, low price, I got a new, special edition of the DVD, Snatch, Guy Ritchie's first major film. Excellent company that delivered.

This is a story about a bunch of stupid losers, who have nothing at the center of their lives, so they became addicts, drunks, and thieves. What is amazing about it is how blackly funny they all are, as they dive into toilets, allow babies and friends to die, burst into violent rages, and seek some kind of fantastical out. The acting is so good that you can believe all of their chaotic lives that can go nowhere but down or prison. Will the narrator turn his life around with his latest scan and last chance? You assume so, but don't know. Recommended. Cult classic. And that young Ian McGregor! First rate.

In this great movie the Rock plays Beck, a so called "retriever" for a loan shark. Beck dreams to run his own 5-star restraurant and leave this life behind him. However the boss gives one final job, bring back his son Travis (Seann William Scott). Travis not only doesn't want to go home, but bad guy Hatcher (The hilarious Christopher Walken) won't let hime go until Travis finds a mythical golden idol for him were only Travis knows where it is. The Rock brings pure awesome to this film and is arguably his best film to date. The movie is wonderfully photographed, and the comic moments flow throughout the film making it enjoyable and entertaining at the same time. In spite of its manifold flaws, AvP managed to be fairly entertaining. The characters were all pretty flat, the acting was horrible, and all but one of the humans dies without putting up any kind of meaningful fight whatsoever. The premise is totally absurd. The movie is basically entirely lacking in subtlety or depth. But for all that, I have to admit to having taken a great deal of rather juvenile satisfaction in watching the Predators and the Aliens-- two of the baddest beasts ever to hit the silver screen-- tear each other to shreds. Plus, once the main human character hooks up with the Predator to help him do battle, she turns out to be pretty cool, too. This is definitely about as mindless as action flicks come. But if you're male and under thirty, you'll probably get a kick out of it anyway.
