I've watched all the previous movies, so was interested to see this one also. Like all the previous movies, though, there seems to be a certain lack of romance between the protagonists. You could almost excuse the first movie, because that was the point of the title (that love comes softly), but all the movies have that strange situation where the protagonists suddenly realize they love each other in the last few minutes of the movie (well, mostly the women..the men are pretty clear about their romantic interests). Other than that continuing strange aspect of these movies, I still enjoyed this movie, independent of the books (having not read any of them). Extremely slow with about 1/2 dialogue of the original Little House series with Michael Landon. No fooling. In my opinion it would of been more entertaining to have more dialogue instead of minutes of Laura walking with leaves and having the leaves on her bare feet, or Pa driving the wagon, or the undercarriage of the wagon - with no dialogue. Show is Ma and Pa Ingalls with Laura and Mary - no Carrie or Grace. BORING especially compared to the original series. You have been warned!

I do not know why I rented this movie. Maybe because it was my gut instinct or some shtick like that. One of the worse movies ever made. Oh, it's down there. No one can act in this stupifying movie. I got stupifyed. Look, people who love these kinds of damn music should check themselves at the front door. The woman in that house create someof the worst lines ever spewed and so do the beefcake men. I would wanna watch every copy of this movie get burned in a bonfire. Talking about the music was great, the music sucked, They needed some heavy hardcore rock music or something. The music in this was cheesier then hell. Did they have to put grandma in this? I thought her pacemaker was gonna fail or something, because grandma deserves better. Steer clear from this pile of toxic waste.
