I a might like this better if it wasn't Pixar. But it's not witty, at all, has great animation and good action scenes and few laughs. Few, as in not enough to support film. Oh, well.

It seems everyone has a strong opinion on this film..as I do also...I loved it, didnt expect to like it as much as I did...matter of fact came here to amazon to buy a copy. I was totally shocked to see the mixed reviews, as much as I enjoyed this film...It does deal with a lot of sensivitive areas, and maybe that scares a lot of people. If your open minded, and have a HEART...you will love this movie as a lot of others did. Dont let the others discourage you, judge this one for yourself!!

I saw this movie as a kid when it first came out and it scared me to death. It played on all my childhood fears (monsters in the closet, attacking trees, and creepy clowns!). As an adult, obviously it is not so scary but still well made, humorous at times, and entertaining. I liked it enough that I wanted to add it to our home movie collection to enjoy over and over. I recommend it to anyone who likes a good ghost story.

Did anyone notice that the Satan's name in this entertaining-but-flawed flick is Milton, and that the marble reliefs which come to tantalizing life on Al Pacino's wall also allude to the great English poet's masterpiece?

I feel that "Devil's Advocate" has some good material, including touches of humor, some stunning cinematographic effects, and the performances by Ms. Theron and Al Pacino, who chews the scenery with such devilish panache that he dominates Keanu Reeves (but perhaps that is the point). And while the film, which combines legal ethics (or the lack of them) with the "Rosemary's Baby" genre, held my interest from start to finish, it did not quite come together--whether because of choppy editing or the "Dallas" option that precedes the ending, I am not certain. I did find the actual ... Read More

The best season of "Coach" so far. Although this season has it's fair shair of major disappointments for Hayden Fox, the outcome is simply hilarious for us fans.

What looks set to be the best season of football for the Minnesota Screaming Eagles will probably end up being the worst due to a cruel twist of fate. While dealing with all these upsets, Hayden breaks up with Christine, Luther has his heart broken once again by Marion and lots of other interesting things pop up.

After two successful seasons the third one one really kicks into gear.
"Coach" has never been shy of downplaying the comedy in favor of some drama and this season has some very dramatic moments, especially when Hayden and Christine break up. It's a credit to Craig T. Nelson and Shelley Fabares how well they balance their ... Read More

"Poltergeist" is one of my favorite horror pictures and I just introduced my 18-yr-old niece to the film with this blu-ray edition. She found it very scary and was stunned it was only rated PG (considering the year it was released). The picture and audio quality of this edition are both wonderful but, as noted by other reviewers, there are no real extras. Because of all the behind-the-scenes drama I have a feeling it will be a very long time before we see an edition which includes some really meaty extras. The book was nice, and had a few facts I wasn't aware of (the change from an "R" rating and the use of real skeletons on set...eww!)

Be aware, however, that like all previous versions the really severe edit between the family kitchen and the neighbor's house is still there - I don't think there can be a ... Read More
