"I'll be home for Christmas" stars former child star Jonathan Taylor Thomas. JT2 is a teenaged boy who'd rather not go home for Christmas to be with his family, since his father remarried 10 months after his mother died (if this were Shakespeare,he'd be bemoaning that his father would be warming the marital bed while his mother is barely cold in her grave) His father bribes him with a Porsche- in the spirit of Christmas giving. not a bad movie for a TV release only, special effects not bad, actors pretty good, for the price a good buy

This disk is finally a release of what must be one of the top Queen live shows. Just the four of them, at the top of their fame and strength. Together with the Queen on Fire, this is a must have for any fan. Freddie's voice is strong, amazing, no shortcuts, no compromises. The band just clicks together. Some beautiful performances here. The video is very good given the age of the material, too bad more footage was not preserved to re-cut the show. Audio is flawless. Commentary is entertaining, although best watched as subtitles (available in several languages), since the music is very quiet between the comments which are rather sparse. Great show, probably the best live concert disk in my collection.

Great DVD. It doesn't matter if you prefer the original line up of Pink Floyd when they originally recorded The Wall. This mega show, starred by Roger Waters, and a select list of guests like Scorpions, Cindy Lauper, Bryan Adams, Sinead O'Connor, will really take you to another dimension. Waters had to gather a lot of excelent artists in order to suply the absense of Gilmour, Wright and Mason... and he did it right. I particularly love the instrumental and vocal performance of the Scorpions in songs like "In The Flesh", "Waiting For The Worms" and the final part of "The Trial". Cindy Lauper's excentricity adds a lot of color to "Another Brick In The Wall Part II" and her vocal performance fits into that song perfectly. I was really taken by the Kids' performance on this one. Their voices were a bit raspy but hey, age catches up with us all. That camera take of good ol' Thunder Fingers (RIP) gave a true look at the Ox's unique way to play the hell of a bass. He will always be remembered. I was particularly pleased with Zack's drum performance (he's no Keith, of course... but he's excellent none the less), which brings me to to the fact that Keith wasn't even mentioned or remembered or not even a picture or something to his tribute. Pete's unique guitar playing was excellent as usual, even after all those years. The talent guests gave an excellent performance and adapted very well to the Who songs and were a nice treat. This made for TV movie centers around the SS Poseidon. A cruise ship that sets sail from Cape Town, South Africa to Sydney, Australia gets overturned by a terrorist bomb. A small band of survivors do their best to make it to safety before the ship sinks. Directed by John Putch, the movie stars: Steve Guttenberg, Adam Baldwin, C. Thomas Howell, Peter Weller, Rutger Hauer, and Bryan Brown. In this adaptation, the plot differs from the original book and first feature film in that the ship is overturned by a terrorist bomb and not a tidal wave. The story was altered because the makers of the film felt that the original's disaster was unrealistic and people wouldn't believe the premise. If for no other reason, buy this DVD set while you can. It contains the last time the original members of Pink Floyd played together since the early 80's. Now with the passing of Richard Wright they will never be a concert with the Original Line up (I'm not counting Syd) Floyd songs are: Speak to Me / Breath Money Wish You Were Here Comfortably Numb Disc 4 has a mini documentary of Pink Floyd reheresing for the concert. This is a must for all Pink Floyd fans
