This is one great movie. It takes place in an office building, a Chinese food restaurant, a diner, a car, and outside in the rain. It is brilliantly written and has a large amount of suspense and tension that really catches the viewer and holds him in its clutches. It shows the costs of depravity and the greed lust for success in a tough business. The cast is fantastic with Al Pacino, Kevin Spacey, Alec Baldwin, Ed Harris, Alan Arkin, and screen legend Jack Lemmon. They make this movie what it is and what it is is fabulous.

This is my all time favorite video. Sally Fields and Jim Garner are two of my favorite actors.When I am feeling low or want a laugh I put it on.

Got The Fletch Collection in the mail from Amazon yesterday (8/20/08). Fletch is the same exact disc that is found in the "Jane Doe" edition and Fletch Lives is the same blue disc as in the previous dvd release, that is still available for purchase. The set is almost identical to the "Jane Doe" edition in the sense that there's a slip cover and a single dvd case with a "flipper". There is no digi-pak here folks. The only special features are the same ones on the "Jane Doe" edition. Fletch is in 5.1 Dolby and Fletch Lives only has 2.0 Dolby. Both are in 1.85:1 anamorphic. Great buy if you don't own either or if you want to upgrade to save a slight bit of space.

The Good Things Good action and special effects. Love the nebula battle scene. Good filming style. Generally more colorful and upbeat. Pretty good storyline. Good characters. Good writing. Contains some comedy and a nice love story. Also some interesting content concerning immortality and having two species of the same genetic root fighting each other. A decent thriller that leaves you feeling you just watched a great movie! One of my favorites. A woman is accused of killing her husband and is eventually sent to prison for the crime. When her son disappears she waits for her parole to find him. She makes the chilling discovery that makes this movie worth the rent or buy. It has lots of foul language and a bedroom scene. I can only recommend this movie to adults.

What can one say about ST:Voyager? It ran with top notch special effects and a well-selected cast. Though a great fan of DS9, ST:Voyager had a compelling storyline with a twist, a female captain, Katherine Janeway . This concept broke the old Star Trek mold by proving that a woman can be as "cowboy" as Jim Kirk, as "eloquent" as Jean-Luc Picard, and as "unyielding" as Benjamin Sisco. Season One lands the crew of the Intrepid-Class explorer Starship in the depths of the Delta Quadrant after an encounter with a space anomaly while chasing down the Maquis. This season is mostly about the integration and initial difficulties that a ship built for only 6 month deployments has to face over 75 years from home. Bob Hope and Lucy Ball what a team; only those of us baby boomers can appreciate the humor and fun these two created. I enjoyed every fun loving minute this movie had to offer. my teenage kids on the other hand walk out after about the first half hour, "what do they know anyway". This movie is for those of us who remember that funny doesn't have to come with those nasty four letter words to get a laugh out of you. I recommend this product to adults and fun loving kids who can appreciate clean humor.

I saw this because Sam Neil was coming back and I figured it couldn't be any worse than "The Lost World". I was right, this one is better than the lost world. Some epic fights between dinos in this movie. The fight between the T Rex and the other big one (can't remember it's name) was awesome to watch. The story is basically the same. Yet another island was being used as a breeding ground. Whoopee. It's kind of clever how they trick Neil onto the island. All in all, it's better than part two by a mile. Better story, better acting. The special effects are the same but who cares, the movie is strong enough to stand on it's own. I hope they don't make a part four.
