Hmmm, the Water Horse. I haven't watched a kid's movie in years, and I think this is one; however, it's handsomely done, the child actor believable and the Horse is energetic.

You all know this film. Why buy the HD DVD version? Good question. If you already own an upconverting DVD player, you probably won't notice much difference in the picture quality. Some of the Special Features on the HD DVD are pretty interesting, including features on the car chase in Moscow and the explosion at the house in Berlin. On the other hand, the director's commentary is absolutely awful. He does nothing but tell you what's going on in the movie and what he believes are the characters' motivations. He says virtually nothing about the actual making of the movie. I was extremely disappointed. Definitely not a model for other filmmakers.

These Bourne movies rock my world. You know THE BOURNE IDENTITY and subsequent sequels are so bad. The Bourne movies are so bad they got James Bond to change almost everything about himself except his name. And James Bond probably didn't change his name because he at least has the same initials as Jason Bourne. Seriously they knocked it out of the park with the Bourne films. Don't know which is 'the best' one. Hard to say. Nobody's better than Paul Greengrass (director of the sequels) at doin the realer than real life thing, but Bourne Identity is the first and has the most engrossing story to tell. And 'Shaky cam' is cool, but in much smaller doses than are invariably used. They go over board with the shaky cam. But not here. The Long Kiss Goodnight Davis and Jackson worked well together in this movie, lot's of action all the way through and some great plot twists that will leave you at the edge of your seat!

This is really a funny and at times touching film. It's a bit overlong, but Bill Murray and the other actors are great. I really liked this movie. Definately not for those that don't like to think.

The DVD we received was defective. The color was off and the image kept going black. We couldn't watch it.
