A great movie to sit on a roof in the spring time with a cold beer. Definately a movie worth biting into and prying your jaws open with a crow bar.

This movie had great gore for when it was made and the humor was probably right on track back at that time. I chuckled a few times and said "that's a lot of blood" quite a bit and though I didn't like this movie much I really didn't hate it. If I would of seen this when it was made I would of loved it no doubt but over the last few years my taste has changed in movies. The gore is over the top but it really doesn't bother me that much anymore considering I was eating while I watched it. I would say at least every three minutes there is some sort of gore scene involved in this about a hour and a half flick and close to the end about every half a second. I only rented this and probably would never buy it since its not worth more than ninety nine cents but odds are if you love horror and over ... Read More

Not too great of a movie, mainly because it's the same movie as Free Willy except with the Loch Ness Monster. Even freeing the monster by having it jump over an obstacle in the water. Can this be a more blatantly recycled plot?

Also, the kid rides the thing's back underwater (somehow holds on) for a long time, and then later on almost drowns just from being in the water. I know it's nitpicking, but come on.

Overall, this just wasn't a very touching movie - cute at best.

Sigourney Weaver plays her character with such gusto that she reminds me of the great Bette Davis at her best! Engrossed in her character she seems to love being evil, and you can tell on her face even when she pretends to be nice. This movie is entertaining to say the least since all actors do a great job and make-up and effects are excellent. When that mirror slowly breaks and you see that blinding blue-white light through the cracks and the aging process begins... WATCH THIS MOVIE! All other Snow White renditions (animated or not) seem to be a build up to this one. The title Snow White might not target the audience that would best enjoy this movie - with Sigourney's great presence the title should have been Evil Stepmother.

One day a strange fog surrounds the state of California. Communications of any kind cannot penetrate this fog.

And every person born in Latin America and living in California disappears. It is the "disappearance epidemic." The news states "California feels like a ghost town."

Results? One third of Californians are of Central or South American descent. Ninety percent of the produce in California is harvested by these recent immigrants. Twenty percent of school teachers. One-third of all consumers. Sixty percent of construction workers are Latino.

Is it the Rapture?

In the meantime, food in the grocery stores is not being restocked. The piles of garbage slowly build up. "Come back, amigos!" There is confusion about who is disappearing: ... Read More

...because as important as sidekicks are, nobody comes to see them specifically. This film is full of people who are best known for being sidekicks. Not surprisingly, I found "Freaked" completely by accident. Some accidents are happy. Some accidents are sad. Some accidents make you angry enough that you want to start a fire and melt polycarbonate. "Freaked" might make an entertaining fire. A film almost entirely populated by (in)famous sidekick actors deserves to be this painfully bad. But I should be fair and explain myself. Nothing is all bad (well, maybe Hitler). After all, a lot of people really liked this movie (about which I am honestly puzzled?). So, let's break it down. DA^^N THE AMAZON RANKINGS!!! CHARGE!!!

8.City of Industry starring: Harvey Keitel, Stephen Dorff, Timothy Hutton, Famke Janssen, Wade Dominguez

Harvey Keitel (Roy) plays his usual self-assured character leading a group in a jewelry heist, and then goes up against a myriad of contract killers.

Famke Janssen is very convincing as a mother of two and wife of one the jewelry heist gangmembers who gets caught up in the mess. Famke is very attractive with or without makeup, (and very tall-with those long legs). Timothy Hutton, Roy's brother (killed off early by Dorff) and Lucy Liu have minor parts.

All I can say is you'll be so very happy when Harvey Keitel smears Stephen Dorff's brains all over the pavement, towards the end of the movie. Stephen Dorff gives and absolutely first-class perfomance of a double-crossing, short-tempered, quick-drawing psychopath, who won't be double-crossed (as he has double-crossed) by anyone. ...
