Second movie in the boxset. Originally titled Bloodsuckers, This movie was pretty average. It is kinda boring in some parts but there is some good gore effects, but they're not great though.

The movie takes place in the year 2210. Vampires have pretty much taken over the whole world. The V-SAN (Vampire Sanitation) Squad, which also has their own spaceship and is lead by Churchill, who is captured by the vampires, recieves a message from an Earth and the team, formed by Quintana (Played by the very hot Natassia Malthe), the rookie officer Damian and the rebels Rosa and Roman (Roman being played by Aaron Pearl from Wrongfully Accused.) V-SAN later meets up with the leader of the vampires Muco, played by Michael Ironside from Total Recall. He has no plans of living peacefully with ... Read More

Saving Silverman is just horrible! The only actor that is good in this garbage is Amanda Peet, she is crazy and likeable even when she's playing a bi$%h. Jason Biggs continues to play a dunce and Jack Black over does it as usual. Steve Zahn is pretty good but you expect him to play a doofus. This movie is lame and pointless, don't see it!

WOW!!! This is a very fitting way to say "see ya for now, John". We should never say goodbye to our friends, heroes or loved ones and this film proves that!! It is an amazing look back at not just Johnny Ramone but the music itself and the influence it has had worldwide for the last 30 years. Even though the last 10-15 minutes are absolutely heartbreaking, it is well worth multiple viewings for fans of the band as well as fans of music itself. Life is short and was even shorter for Johnny, Joey, and Dee Dee. But I know they just wanted to get to heaven before the rest of us so they would have time to rehearse. See ya soon fellas! HEY HO, LET'S GO!!!!!

I always loved behind the scenes documentary's and with the twist of the batmobile being stolen was just priceless.

The last time you see frank gorshen (rest his soul) this is a hoot to all of those baby bloomers like myself and fans of television documentary's.

This is HBO's movie version of director Agnieszka Holland's adaptation of Mikal Gilmore's book "Shot In the Heart". It is produced by Barry Levinson and Tom Fontana, the guys behind the late, great TV series "Homicide" and "Oz", and the end credits say the film was shot mostly in Baltimore, the locale of "Homicide" (there are some exterior shots of Salt Lake, including Temple Square; and Provo canyon.) Giovanni Ribisi plays Mikal Gilmore and Elias Koteas is Gary Gilmore (a far cry from his kind-hearted soldier in the movie "The Thin Red Line.") The playwright Sam Shepard portrays Frank Gilmore, Sr. and Amy Madigan is Bessie Gilmore. The film lacks the epic, time- and space-spanning quality of Mikal's book. It's more an intense chamber piece; I can easily envision a stage version. It's very reminiscent ... Read More

Don't Look Back is an excellent movie. Eric Stoltz gives a very convincing performance as Jesse, a failed musician with a big smack habit. As the film unfolds, it is impossible not to sympathize with his plight. After stealing a large sum of money - the proceeds of a failed drug deal - he heads back to his home town, Galveston, Texas. He is embraced back into his circle of childhood friends and visits his rather grumpy grandad. Little does he know that the owner of the money, gang leader Marshall (a corpulent Billy Bob Thornton) is hot on his trail.

I first saw this film when I was recovering from heroin addiction myself, so the scene where Jesse's friends take him for a holiday in the woods to detox was particularly moving for me and, I think, realistically portrayed.

The film features a ... Read More

And even worse, it has already been done before in "Phone Booth," with Colin Farrell.

Can we really be expected to believe that everyone and their brother knows where to go to a hot dog stand in broad daylight to buy drugs? Can we really be expected to believe that it took, like, 45 minutes for an ambulance to be brought to an officer?

Snipes lines seemed.......labored. I don't know if it is because it was out of character for him or if the writing was really just that bad.

Whatever the case, this movie went right into the trash after being viewed. I am out of CNY2 (US$0.33). Not the end of the world.

I know that the authors were trying to make a point about gun control, but I had a hard time staying awake long enough to consider it.
