This man has cracked up generations of audiences, his humour is not so much acidic as `to the point' or right on the button funny. A slick production, a peak into the legends life, even the outtakes are hilarious ...Jules Verdel (?) Anthony Quin and even the fight for the best cabin....informative and heartfelt....some very funny stuff here, recommended

Let it be known that I would be one of the first to stand up against all the Hollywood remakes. This is actually the first time I've wanted to see a remake, and I caught it the weekend it came out. And I must say, I was entertained the whole time. I think if you look at this movie as a football comedy, and not try to compare it to the Burt Reynolds version, you'll enjoy it. I think a lot of people are turned off by this movie for that reason, and because they see this as being nothing more than "The Waterboy Pt. 2". But it's not, despite the cameo by Rob Schneider (sp?), which honestly, I could've done without. The characters could've been a little more developed...I mean, why should we root for the "Mean Machine", other than the fact that the guards were really corrupt? With no character development, ... Filmed for about two years during the making of the poorly received album "St. Anger", "some Kind of Monster is a healing journey into the hard-beating heart of rock & roll" (-Jeff Shannon). Lol. Right. This is where they got a lot of material for the cartoon comedy series on Adult Swim, METALOCALYPSE. Seriously, it is. Check out the first season. And it's impossible to not think of the classic mockumentary THIS IS SPINAL TAP, the parallels with it getting a little odd.

This up-close, intimate journey of self discovery and blah, blah, blah makes you wonder if having kids and sobering up is a good idea. I tempted to say, NO, stay drunk and unmarried. Above all, stay hungry and motivated or take a break. But what we see here is natural and to a large extent inevitable. It's just the way it goes. ... Read More

when i was senior high school,my school band always played Metallica songs. I truly admire Metallica, especially Kirk Hammet in his maestro killing thrash metal melody guitar. No one can compare with Kirk Hammet. I buy this DVD to remind me about old Metallica, Metallica who used to be a God of Metal, despite they seems downgrade now but i never forget how Metallica made all days so fun when in high school also in unversity.
This video show you how great their team to make an album. They are so solid and they truly professional in commercial band, and their songs, their clips so great. This product will bring you to the years when Metallica run faster to be a champion as a metal group.
