This disk is finally a release of what must be one of the top Queen live shows. Just the four of them, at the top of their fame and strength. Together with the Queen on Fire, this is a must have for any fan. Freddie's voice is strong, amazing, no shortcuts, no compromises. The band just clicks together. Some beautiful performances here. The video is very good given the age of the material, too bad more footage was not preserved to re-cut the show. Audio is flawless. Commentary is entertaining, although best watched as subtitles (available in several languages), since the music is very quiet between the comments which are rather sparse. Great show, probably the best live concert disk in my collection.

With all respect to talented --and unfortunately, late-- Sydney Pollack, I did not find this documentary satisfactory. First and foremost, it lacked focus. The conversations were recorded haphazardly, as if it was a very casual Sunday-morning chat. The subject of "Architectural Design" and a famous architect's approach to his concepts deserve a more serious effort and more structured (no pun intended) presentation.

If for no other reason, buy this DVD set while you can. It contains the last time the original members of Pink Floyd played together since the early 80's. Now with the passing of Richard Wright they will never be a concert with the Original Line up (I'm not counting Syd) Floyd songs are: Speak to Me / Breath Money Wish You Were Here Comfortably Numb Disc 4 has a mini documentary of Pink Floyd reheresing for the concert. This is a must for all Pink Floyd fans

The beginning of the DVD I first thought a little odd, it seemed like Gilmour was doing a sound check. But it quickly turned into Shine On You Crazy Diamond. He performed many of the classic Pink Floyd tunes and even though I was skeptical that I would like a lot of them played on an acoustic guitar, I enjoyed the whole show tremendously. Unlike when Clapton turned Layla into an acoustic version that had little resemblance to the legendary version, Gilmour's acoustic interpretation is very similar to the recorded versions. He does pickup an electric guitar -- a Gretsch -- from time to time and it's every bit as good as it used to be. First off I'm quite amazed, it seems EVERY other review on here is about the movie!! Well this is not the VHS, DVD or blu-ray, you have clicked on the CD version of Spiceworld, aka the very bearable soundtrack to the movie. This album is great. Listening to it makes me realise what a lost society we live in now, where barely an original tune is released anymore. Spiceworld takes me back to not only my early teen years, but back to when music was great. The melodies are superb and catchy, and the lyrics mean something worthwile. Now for my song reviews: 1. Spice Up Your Life - 3/5. My least favourite track on the album, the one time I felt the girls had been pressured into a particular type of song to appeal for the first single.
