Good selection of routines with focus on basic poses that then become more challening. Watch the basics and work with the moves and you will get the hang of them. There are routines that focus on relaxing and others are on strength, enough here to cover anything I wanted and the instruction is clear. I like this alot.

This DVD is quite different from others that I own, I'm not sure that I'd really call it yoga? More like stretching. I haven't tried the morning or evening practices, just the ones for specific ailments. I can see how this might be helpful...it helped my tension headache temporarily. But it seems like this DVD may have been made for older adults or for those simply looking to use yoga to help with certain issues. Not for people who are looking for a regular yoga practice. I will still probably pull this out when I have a specific issue, but won't use it otherwise. It's pretty slow. This is a great yoga vid! It is packed with options for all levels. Clearly demonstrated and explained at a nice pace. Lots of floor work though, not for the weak wristed.

This DVD from accomplished yoga teacher Barbara Benagh is just the thing to get you going with your yoga practice. I started using Barbara's series of yoga sessions awhile ago now and have enjoyed them tremendously. She seems to set just the right pace, taking time to explore the positions, and also pushing you to new awarenesses. There is so much variety on this DVD that you never seem to be repeating the same sequence over and over as you do on tapes that have only one or two classes. I recommend this DVD for athletes as well as yoga students for a new appreciation of asana from this encouraging teacher.
