I picked this movie up hoping it would get my girlfriend and I in the holiday spirit. Unfortunately, it was a major letdown. What an absolutely disgusting portrayal of Santa Clause. I do not recommend this movie for children or for anyone else for that matter, as it missing all the things that make a good Christmas movie. I can't believe some of the gushing reviews. I expected a lot more based on the cast but I guess it's all about the script. Can't fault the actors for that. I shut this movie off after 10mins. No Christmas magic here folks. Stick with the classics.

I loved the first one..the 2nd was fair and the 3rd one was a disappointment. But still good to have the 3 set and fun to watch.

First, a review of the series itself: 5 gigantic gold, gleaming stars. I caught a few re-run episodes on Encore Westerns and fell in love instantly. Amazing cast, phenomenal acting, great sets, and no gore. It achieves that delicate balance of drama and adventure of the genre without the violence and sex that plagues most modern movies/show today. I really credit whoever cast the series because each actor shines in his role and their personalities play off each other perfectly. I am saddened that the series was cut off after two (all too short) seasons and was floored when I heard that it only came back a second year after an intense fan campaign. This is a great Pauly Shore movie. Don't ecpect a Pearly Harbor, or a Black Hawk Down, i mean seriously people it's Pauly Shore. Just know you'll have alot of laughs!!!

If you do not know about this movie, then you are about to be served with a treat unlike any treat you have ever received. It stars Chevy Chase, who IMHO has just gotten funnier over the years, and Jonathan Taylor Thomas (the star of Home Improvement) as nutty people saying the zaniest things. Disney scores another home run with Man of the House, and the comedy grabs you by the throat from the very first scene and never loosens its grip. If you've never seen any Chevy Chase movies (and what's wrong with you, if so?!) then this is definitely the one to see.
