Sadly for a short animated special, Shrek the Halls is better than Shrek the 3rd. I mean where were these writers when that movie was being made ? It has the same humor that made the first and 2nd movies good. Plus, thank god there's no sign of the unfunny Artie (Justin Timberlake). Hopefully they get Shrek 4 right, like they got this right. Hopefully they leave out Artie as well! The only bad thing about Shrek the Halls is that it isn't longer. It's only a half hour.

This was robbed of the Best Animated Feature by the overated "The Incredibles", and this is hilarious. You'll laugh from beginnning to end, I assure you.

Some problems like Justin Tiberlakes character, the Princess characters, and the ending are lame but the fairy tale creatures provide plenty of laughs. And look out for two Pythons.

This is a very good musical with a rich overview of Argentinas history and its struggle towards democracy. Madonna is amazing and her talent is reflected in her ability to not only be a pop artist, but also a classical artist. This is a good musical for people that dont usually like musicals and for Madonna fans to see her in a different light.

Okay, I think at this point you get the idea of how bad this movie is, but i'll be even more specific. Think of the worst possible thing that ever happened in your life, then try to compare that to the second worst thing in your life. Now after you've done that, add 2 kids, that thnk they can act, a few adults that can but don't, then top that off with (spoiler, Which is an oxymoron), the main evil bad guy (Sly Stallone) ends up turning good. wow. If it was possible to go negative stars, that might improve it. Save your money or just flush it in the toliet, that would be better spent

Don't just buy this dvd. Buy two copies because you will wear out the first one quickly! This is my family's FAVORITE movie EVER! It is telling that in this film, Antonio Banderas is NOT the hottest guy in the movie! In fact, he can be annoying in it. This movie needed to be longer. Maybe a few hours longer. And the leader's name is Buliwhys, not Bulvine. Just buy it.

You blu ray owners that are whining about grain in movies on blu ray should educate yourselves on how the movie was shot to begin with. Time isn't always the culprit for lower quality films. This is why say One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest looks so rich and clean and this one doesn't. A lot of things play a factor, between the biggest which is type of film stock, camera, lenses, lighting. This movie was shot this way. What you are seeing is what was shot. It isn't because Warner is out to "get you". Trust me, they want to make consumers happy. They want good reviews so people will buy more of their products. It's not like Interview is a small title that they can just throw on an HD disc either. Although I usually prefer classical music or pre-1950s popular music, I do enjoy the music of Andrew Lloyd Webber. This is a very good sampling from his musicals. My only complaint is that some of the singing is not as good as it should be. Except for the opening number which was poorly sung, it sounded OK until I heard Sarah Brightman and Kiri Te Kanawa towards the end of the concert. Then I realized how much better this concert would have been if it had all been sung by singers of their skills.
