This DVD gives you a glimpse to many great Broadway musicals, enough to wet your appetite to see them in actual theatres. This concert was performed by all big-name stars, and even the queen herself attended this concert! I love the performances. The picture and sound quality is superb. I bought an imported one (from another web site), which has some Chinese texts on the box and the DVD also provides Chinese subtitles. I'm not sure if it's the same version on Amazon.com. On my version, though, the English subtitles contain some annoying typos. The making of "Bombay Dreams" not the actual theatrical play. A good account of back stange and how the whole play came together. Not a DVD that worth purchasing but definately a good rental.

I really enjoyed this DVD, it has songs from Andrew LLoyd Webbers Musicals. The selection was slightly different from the norm, but that was good, because almost all the songs were my favorites. The British company sang very well. I thought the Chinese female singer needed to project her voice a bit more. I find Chinese who sing Western operas, are not able to project their voices while singing. I loved the DVD, and have watched it several times since receiving the DVD about two months ago. Elaine Paige sang quite a few arias,she was in good singing form. I rated this DVD with five stars, would have given more stars if they were available.

I havent been an Ultravox fan but I bought this after revisiting them via Live Aid. This is one of those serendipitous discoveries you make when you take a risk. It is just a really great concert. Midge sings with great emotional expression and the music is really full-bodied and up to date - even those older hits he covers really well. His words are poetic and reminiscent to me of David Grey. It is well filmed and there is really not a weak song on it. It also has one of the strongest starts I've seen to a concert. I am now won over and will be keeping an eye on him in future. He is also someone who would appeal to a wide range of agegroups. This is a 'Wow' rating from me.

i want this dvd set 1.cuz i love the musicals josph,cats.and 2. i want to see superstar! i could care less for the albert hall thing. i want to see the musicals! also you must see phantom of the opera ( the best musical EVER!!!!) fiddler on the roof (not enough songs but still good!)
