Ok, I am new to the "Final Destination" horror films, as horror is not my genre. I actually saw the 3rd one first, and became intrigued by the "cheating death or did they" plot. Last weekened, TNT had a showing of all 3 and for a lark I recorded them all (which will nicely fit on a 6 hour DVD).

I saw FD-1, and let me say, that it was interesting, and thought-provoking. It had it's moments and if you remember it's fiction, I think you will enjoy it better. As one person said, don't take it too seriously. You really don't want to keep running around scared to death and looking at everything like it's going to kill you.

None of us knows how we would react if something like that would happen to us. Would we panic, go insane, be grateful we were saved, be more careful, ... Read More

Saving Silverman is just horrible! The only actor that is good in this garbage is Amanda Peet, she is crazy and likeable even when she's playing a bi$%h. Jason Biggs continues to play a dunce and Jack Black over does it as usual. Steve Zahn is pretty good but you expect him to play a doofus. This movie is lame and pointless, don't see it!

This is such an entertaining and fast-moving movie that I have seen in countless times over the years and always have a great time! Thanks in HUGE part to the phenomenal performance of Paul Giamatti, BFL takes a unique idea, some excellent cameo casting (you gotta love Jaleel White with the self-effacing work he does here), and the fairly restrained performance of Frankie Muniz and concocts a funny and well done albeit innocuous little cinematic treat. Muniz could've gone overboard which other young actors succumb to but he stays in check for the most part and allows the rest of cast to do what they do. Again, without Giamatti, this movie is a throw-away, but his performance is delicious and never fails to make me laugh no matter how many times I hear his caustic remarks. He is just so, so ... From the title, one might anticipate a movie based on a '70's basketball team with something to prove, but by the end of this film you'll wish it was something like that. It's really hard to give this movie a bad rating cause it's apparent the intentions were good, but alas... The story revolves around 15 people -many of which just don't matter to the story- who get hung up on a dirt road after the front car is rear ended setting off a live electric wire. While waiting for the authorities to arrive, the respective groups of people -each with dirty laundry and problems aplenty- undergo revelations and bond with eachother out of empathy, obligation, and sheer boredom. The main issue with this movie is that the plot -aside from a few dramatic components- is quite dry and gives the viewer the feeling that ... Read More

First of all, I've read a couple of the other reviews on here, and I'm honestly flabbergasted at what some people are saying. "It's a Big Fat Greek Wedding knockoff"?????? Did you watch the same movie? Kiss the Bride was never supposed to be a comedy-or even is remotely like BFGW, other than they both involve large families.

Ok, on to the actual movie-Kiss the Bride is a poignant drama about four sisters who have grown up to become four very different people and are all thrown back together during one of the sister's wedding. I admit that at times the movie is a little too melodramatic, but coming from a large family myself, I can honestly say that most of the drama is very "real". That's probably why I like it so much-it deals with real issues and doesn't try to make everything all nice and pretty. ... Read More
