What can be said that already hasn't been said. Not much.

However, if you love Frosty and you love Christmas, you will love these two classic stories.

I rewatched these two stories for the first time since my youth and I am astounded as to how well they stand up. Watching them brought back many memories.

Frosty's Winter Wonderland tells the story of Frosty's return from the North Pole to be with his friends. Shortly, he realizes he is lonely and he and kids decide to make a wife (Crystal) for him. However, Jack Frost may have other plans.

Simply Fantastic. A joy for all ages.

A bonus treat was Twas the Night Before Christmas. The story of how Santa turns his back on a small town because of a letter written by someone close ... Read More

If you were a great fan of old horror movies from the 30's and 40's this is a great one. I am suprised this never got the play like, The Great Pumkin Charlie Brown. It is a very funny spoof on all typical classic horror movie characters, as well as Ann Margaret and Jimmy Stewart. This has to be one of the last projects Borris Carloff worked on, I believe," Grinch that stole Christmas" is the last one. This is from the same guys that brought you Rudolph the Red nosed Reindeer. I think the writting was excellent in this feature, reminds me of what pixar is doing now. An often overlooked claymation feature, that really deserves
more play during the Hallowen period.

...perhaps I'll look for a pirate version that has the complete series available. I hate doing that but my money is valuable to me and how and what I spend it one better be of real quality. I'm tired of corporate bean counters dictating to me what they will deign to throw at we Americans rather than pleasing the customer as businesses once did in this country, a long time ago now.

I was forced to buy a pirate version of another series, Batman the '60s TV series, as it seems there is no release going to be made for this show at all, not merely any time soon, but at all. I did my research on this and found a site from a guy who worked on the series intimately and he said there is likely never to be a release of the Batman television series.

But there was someone online ... Read More

I have a copy of the 2006 release of "The Easter Bunny Is Comin' To Town" and this 2008 Deluxe Edition and have compared them. The deluxe edition has definitely improved the quality. I checked it on our tv and computer. It isn't noticeably clearer, mind you, but the motion is less choppy, more smoothed over, making it a better video to watch. I'm not sure why the 2006 version was like this. The old VHS tape we have of it was smoother than the 2006 dvd, too. All in all, it's a fun, good feelin', holiday classic that an avid Rankin Bass fan like me can't do without. People, if you get a copy, save your eyes and get this newer one.

Very high quality! Not worth it at half the price.
It's as lame as Clutch Cargo. What a waste of money.
Now, after this and Clutch Cargo I've lost what little respect my kids once had for my ability to pick good kids shows.
It was all I could do to get them to watch Mighty Orbots and that's totally cool.
Save your money and just realize, if you think these two shows are pretty neat, you must have been 2 or 3 at the time.

Like many documentaries, the people and places are dressed up as to not offend that peoples culture. Due to hunger and oppression some people still choose slavery as a way out.

One of the worst movies I can ever recall watching. Choppy editing; long, drawn out scenes that lead nowhere; poorly written characters and dialogue; ugly cinematography. Combine that with an awkward looking DVD cover; poor audio quality on the DVD (you have to turn the TV volume way up, only to have the next thing you put on blow your speakers off the TV); and no choice of English subtitles; and content and presentation wise, this one is truly at the bottom of the barrel.

DVD : The Underdog Chronicles
This classic cartoon was my absolute favorite as a kid. I thoroughly enjoyed it in my pajamas eating cereal and glued to the TV set early in the AM. While this digitally remastered version is well done, it lacks the true originality of the show. For instance, it is missing the intro 'Don't touch that dial! Watch this exciting seen from today's 4 part story of Underdog! Here it comes now!' It is also missing the segment clip of scenes from other shows that was in the middle of the original show 'You'll see all of this Underdog adventure, complete on today's show. And in weeks to come, you'll see exciting scenes like this:' Since it was in 4-part episodes originally, parts of the scenes are cut in order to remake it uninterrupted which tends to destroy the great suspense music as a part ends. Also, the credits are missing the ... Read More
