So many times when a person buys a CD there are only a couple of songs that they consider good. On this CD there are over half the songs that are more than good. They are great. This CD has all the Sarah's greatest hits and more. I would highly recommend this CD to anyone who loves Sarah Brightman.

And the company still sent me the wrong cd.The cd i received was 25 most classical favorites,so instead of returning the wrong item,i just took the lost.

Although entitled "Guitar Masterpieces" the music is MOSTLY big band with some guitar lead. This CD does not feature the guitar. Very disappointing.....

This product is wonderful and i would recommend it to anybody who is expecting a baby. It can be used also later on when the baby is born of course so it is a never-ending beautiful piece of music.

Some CD's get 5 stars that don't deserve it. This is NOT one of those. It's definitely one to cherish.

In a recent New York Times interview, Erwin Schrott is quoted as saying that "he was worried...that the sound of his voice -- 'my ideal sound, my inner sound, what my ear hears' was not coming through on [his debut] recording." The article goes on to disagree, stating that "the engineers have ably captured the heft, warmth and chocolate-tinged colorings of [Schrott's] voice." Personally, I agree a bit with both opinions. In this, his first recital CD, Schrott comes across as an able musician with a decent, often powerful, instrument, but not always an exciting one. Compare this disc to Simon Keenlyside's recent "Tales of Opera," on which he sings a collection of familiar arias, but with such superb vocal artistry and acting that it's as if we're hearing them for the first time. Gorgeous playing, excellent song selection... I listen to this while reading, or painting - it's great music for shutting down a "noisy" brain - very relaxing. Good quality sound, too. Lovely on rainy days, in winter with candles burning ... really adds to a contemplative (but not somber) ambience.
