Overall, I enjoyed this book. It was a quick, easy read. It kind of had a boring start but definitely picked up a bit later. I loved John and Savannah as a couple but I knew once he went back to Germany, it would be a struggle for them to stay together. I will say I never truly got a grasp of the love between John and Savannah in the end. It was so wishy washy. I understand their logic but it still didn't fit right. The ending was typical but I still found it to be an average/above average book.

This book, after having been read in 2 days has made it onto my list of favorites. The concept of the imaginary friend was wildly inventive and wonderfully executed. Although the romantic relationship between woman and childhood imaginary friend was a bit odd.

First let me start by saying that i am speaking as a whole when i say that Anita Blake series is a wonderful series. Jean-Claude is super sexy, i am currently on the 9th book in the series i have been into the series for 2 months now. i got into them thanks to a friend at work. I agree with some reviews for future books that say that anita starts having a lot more intimacy with her eye candies but if you read the book you will see why, it's not by choice and that makes it a more interesting. i love this series and i'm 22. i wouldn't recommend it to anyone less than 18 years old just because of the "sex" but i thats not an issue, go ahead, i wouldn't if i was a mother. anyway the series is great it has lots of action and romance and suspense, everything in one, what more could you ask for?

The Wedding
After reading The Notebook I became an avid Nicholas Sparks fan. When I read there was a sequel I bought it with not much hope that it could be anything as good as The Notebook. I was pleasantly surprised and found it highly enjoyable.

The irony of fictional writing is that it works best when it comes from a real place. According to author Richard Paul Evans, the background story of his novel "Finding Noel," is drawn from the real-life story of Celeste Edmunds, a woman with whom he used to work.

As with his previous books, this is a personal work for Evans; he uses family names, origins, religion, illness and little slice-of-life things like recipes, traditions and tips to give a homey feel to his characters and story.

"Finding Noel" is also the first book of fiction that features a character diagnosed with eye cancer. Through the character Joette, Evans exposes millions of readers to this rare disease - only 2,000 adults are diagnosed each year - in a way that mainstream media and the inaccessible medical literature have not. ...
