Good to Great is a great book for anyone in business. I was amazed at some of the less obvious lessons learned from the years of research as well as the simple truths that seemed obvious after they were revealed. I am a small business owner with a professional degree but with no formal business education. It was good to read "research" that was not all stuffy and dry. A particularly strong point for me was the argument for why I should strive to be great and not just "good" or even "mediocre". I am planning on reading Jim Collins' other book, Built to Last.

The author creates an awareness within you and makes you reach out for creating and working on your goals in an approach which feels very achievable. I would recommend everyone to read this book. If not anything else, it at least helps to motivate you! Once again, it is a must read!

What a great book! The concept of how we are encouraged and accept the idea of "being" a certain type of person "when we grow up" versus "who we really are" speaks volumes in the assessment test of this book's Gallop's test. Incredible page turner, I could not put the book down this past weekend. I am using it as scripture not only for work but also for my career. I wonder to myself, if too many people read this book, then the secret is out, I won't look like I have all the answers.

I bought this book after read some remarks in the Internet and magazines. Part I is the best one, where you get to know the basics and concepts about GTD. Part 2 is how the author does implement these basics and concepts in his day-by-day. Not for everyone. Part 3, just skip it. I wouldn't tell a friend to buy the book.

The first copy I got of this book had a lot of typos in it. For example, one of the values in a math problem read "28" instead of "2^8". There was another math example where they printed "=" instead of "-", which made the explanation incoherent. I was feed up when they misprinted the Pythagorean Theorem: a2 + b^2 = c^2 instead of a^2 + b^2 = c^2. I thought to myself, if I'm catching all these typos, I wonder which ones am I missing. Luckily, I was able to exchange my copy for a typo free copy. There were 6 copies of this book on the shelf at my local Barnes & Nobles, 5 of them contained typos like my first copy. So beware...

This is a great book for all women about financial planning. Suze gives you great advice on how to save and how to change your bad habits to allow you to save more money. I would reccommend this book to women of all ages.

This book allows people to realise that stagnant sciences like economics in this case do not necessarily need to be boring / repetitive. Some really 'out of the box' explainations have been provided for some really important questions. Reads more like a story then a book on economics.

The Tipping Point was a very, very, good book. The only thing that kept it from being perfect is that there's really only a half-book's worth of material here, so the author basically expanded what could have been written in 100 pages to a longer book format, just so we would think we're getting our money's worth. Very considerate, but probably not necessary.

Yes, the Law of Attraction lives on and the author does a great follow up of The Secret and other books on this topic. I have to tell you there are many out there and this is such easy reading. However, would like to recommend my favorite because not only does it give information, but shows you how through exercises and a journal to record your transformation,Living The Secret Everyday: My Secret Workbook. A must read too.
