I waited for months and months to read this book and was so excited when it came out. What a sad dissapointment it turned out to be.
I felt that Stephenie Meyer was more concerned with the element of surprise throughout the book than she was with making sure that the plot was decent and made sense.
Another thing, and I know I'm not the only one who thinks this, was that the chacters didn't have their normal personalities, they didn't seem the same. I found myself not feeling what Bella was feeling like I did the the last three books.
All and all, I was very dissatisfied with this book and wish that the series had ended with Eclipse.

Watchmen is an immensely dark and philosophical tale that feels like a window into a parallel universe. The writing and visuals jointly convey the characters' complex humanity while exploring them with brutal reality. Watchmen is rich with questions of psychology and existential philosophy, and works as the definitive deconstruction of its genre.

I find that the quality of a piece of literature can be judged by its re-readability and what each subsequent experience offers. There exist so many layers of meaning in this novel that it is barely feasible to grasp them all in one pass. Re-reading almost becomes a necessity in this case, presenting a VERY compelling reason to own a copy rather than just borrowing one.

Not everything that is considered a classic truly lives up ... Read More

It would be a better book if the author had left out the vast amount of doctrine. For example, trying to explain the trinity while telling a story fails to to both.

This book was excellent, just like the previous ones. I am a junior high teacher and wanted to read these books to talk to my students about them, but I got hooked on them myself. Excellent books!!

Jerome Corsi is a brilliant author and should get a Pulitzer Prize for this important work. The irrational support for Obama points to a need for an IQ test, verifiable ID and citizenship, and verification of property ownership in America before anyone would be allowed to vote. I would give 10 to 1 odds that all of the negative reviews were written by America-hating brain-dead communists, enviromarxists, fascists, liberals and/or other socialists.

The writing gets worse in the Twilight saga. It makes VC Andrews (if you are old enough to remember those books) read like high literary prose. But what teenaged girl can resist this plot of an unearthly gorgeous vampire (who is also wildly rich) in love with a mortal girl dealing with high school? Apparently not many.
