What a treat to buy this for a friend's baby. My youngest child LOVED this book because as others have pointed out, it is fantastic! Just reading the words results in a great rhyme and makes you dance. You can't help it. Babies love it, toddlers love it, and parents love to read it, even the 4,999th time. It makes everyone smile. We wore the cover off and had to buy multiple copies. What a great author, love all her books but this is by far our fave.

Sheep in a Jeep is a fun book using rhythmic wording. The pictures are humorous. My disappointment was with the small size of the board book. No where did it say the miniature dimensions of the book. I prefer board books that are in the larger format of 8x11.

Great book!! It was for my college class book review. I read it to my daughter and we both enjoyed it.

Your political leanings, notwithstanding, Click, Clack, Moo Cows That Type by Doreen Cronin, is a wonderful book that will have children and adults laughing out loud. Farmer Brown is angered when he learns that not only does he own literate cows, but that they can type, and type they do with a daily list of demands to make their life more comfortable. Soon the cows are joined in their endeavor by the chickens, along with their demands, and more fun ensues. At first Farmer Brown refuses to deal with what he sees as recalcitrant bovine, but reconsiders when the animals enlist the aid of a duck mediator. Through a series of negotiations the cows and chickens get their demands met, but alas, the farmer learns too late, ducks also know how to type. I don't know if this book really teaches children ... My son loves to read books, but this one does not keep his attention. He likes Goodnight Moon, the Boyton Books, and others, but this doesn't keep his interest. I do like that it shows various animals and their noises.

As a teacher I love the ultimate message that this story sends: Reading is hard work, but with effort everyone can suceed. The story is set in absurdity where educated cows, pigs, and ducks can teach the big bad wolf a few things. Enjoy!

Cronin books always tickle my funnybone, so it's fun to read them to the little kids, especially since we will read them 1000 times over the next few years!

I love this story...Sylvester is such a sweet character, his parents make you so sad that they can't find him and there he is, right under their noses! It's a simple story, one that even the youngest children will appreciate. I especially like how the parents never really gave up looking for Sylvester and even though he wasn't around, he was still very much a part of their lives. Our loved ones never truly leave us, we are reminded of them daily in all sorts of ways. Such a nice sentiment to share with our children.

My mother used to read me this story as a kid. I always liked it. As I got older, I began to appreciate it even more for its subtle humor. The story is unique and the illustrations should really be admired. I just bought it for my 2 year old and she seems to enjoy it as well. I highly recommend it.
